This light fixture is so perfect, I have an odd space between my fireplace and a big bookcase that’s dark and needed a little ambient lighting. It’s a beautiful light. It’s just about half the size I expected it to be. For 100 dollars I expected it to be larger. They do put the size dimensions, which is my fault, but I do think the photos they have advertising it looks about 8-10 inches wide in those photos. I submitted for a refund and it went to another screen asking if I would take a 20 percent refund or I’d like to proceed with the return and have to pay shipping so I just took the discount. For 80 dollars it’s a better deal and I won’t have the hassle of returning. Such a genius idea to have sconces with a rechargeable lightbulb! I had never heard of this until I saw it on Wayfair, and of course now I see them quite a bit. This hallway going down to my basement is very dark. The electrician said he could not put a light up in the ceiling after he climbed up in the attic to look. So when I saw these, I was so excited to be able to do such a simple thing to add light to this dreary, dark hallway! I had a bit of a struggle getting them mounted right because they are so close to my ceiling, but other than that, it is very simple to get them mounted and have instant light wherever you might need it! The gold shade on these actually move, so you can rotate it to your desired spot. Strangely, it is a bit tricky to get the remote to work for both lights. It does come with two. So I just was played around with it and pushed buttons until I was able to sync them. I wish I could remember what I did but that part was a little frustrating. I actually mounted the remote to the side of the wall where I do have a switch that turns on a light at the very bottom of the stairs.
