Smith's 2 Stages Manual Knife Sharpener

Nice knife sharpener and was pleasantly surprised how well made with none slip bottom, and has soft grip so you hold steady. I sharpened my serrated steak knives and all my paring knives. It’s like I have new knives again. Also, all my scissors are sharp again, now I don’t need to purchase new scissors.

Not for me. Hard to hold and keep fingers out of the way. I chose three pieces to try. #12 a high grad stainless knife. It sharped very well and faster than I thought. #2 an older heaver stainless blade. This did not do very well. Don't think it fit very well in the notch. #3 dress maker shears from my shop. I was unable to pull them through evenly. They kept jumping through. After several tries I gave up. Very disappointed.

This knife sharpener does a decent job at sharpening the knives. I would say it’s a good alternative to keeping them sharp in between getting them professionally sharpened. I do like how you can leave the sharpener on the edge of the counter and because of the rubber material that it is made of it does not slip.

I got the manual knife sharpener, not thinking that it would be as good as it is. I sharpen knives that my father used fillet fish and this knife is so short it’s amazing and I’m happy I got this so I went through and gathered all my items that need to be sharpened and let me tell you it was worth every penny. I definitely recommend getting this. It’s nice because it’s manual and you can control the sharpness That you’d like. It’s a great deal and if you want your knives sharpened scissors, anything get it

This is very good.I have another one but it’s different than this.My old one is stillworking good but don’t have for scissors sharpener.This sharpener is perfect for using for knives and good quality

I like the ergonomics of this device - feels secure in hand and steady when sharpening. Not crazy about the “feel” of the gray rubbery part - I sense it’ll deteriorate quickly and get stickytacky and feel like it always needs washing. Scissors appear to be very sharp after using, but not sure it really sharpened my knives.
