I think this 2 dog leash would work exceptionally well with 2 small dogs that like to walk close together and are similar in age. The hardware on this leash would be more than adequate for small dogs. I should have thought this through before I ordered it because the leash was for an aged Great Pyrenees and a 8 month old Pyrenees Doodle mix. In this case the hardware on the leash wasn’t enough the bungees weren’t strong enough. Im planning to use this for my new chicken run so Im not attaching the dog bowls but the door swing around great and lock in place. The whole structure is very sturdy. Assembly was super easy. The way it was packaged is if someone else had sent it back. it was in a box labeled dog pads, and it was thrown in there. Our medium sized dog (lab/pit bull mix that weighs 65 lbs) went in, laid down, and was sleep in 5 minutes--a sign that he was very comfortable in it. It was easy to assemble. We did it in 15 minutes. Lastly, I really like that the top opens so it's easy to put items inside, like the dog bed. I think this statue of the Siberian husky is terrific. I love it. I have owned Siberian huskies in the past and this is a perfect representation of an 8 to 12 month old Siberian husky it takes about two years for a husky to develop full-size and strength so this statue is a nice nice puppy.
