Even though the shroud is wide, the air guide behind it on top of the motor doesnt leave a lot of space for the electrical outlet, so I recommend placing the outlet higher and off to the side.. WE have not had it for long, but love the hot water and Keurig feature. Leaves countertops empty of a coffee maker. Great for single brew cups and hot tea. Also great when baking as you can measure the water out if called for in recipes. Love the compartments in frig. And space in the freezer.
