Once upon I time I could sharpen my knifes to razor sharpness by hand. Decades later my hands are no longer steady enough to do that. I spent 10 minutes reading the instructions and then ten minutes getting two 8" knives sharper than I could do it by hand. After using it a few more times I'll be able to get a knife sharp in under a minute. Seriously, I think I'll be able to sharpen a knife as fast as a professional chef does with one of their sharpening rods. I would like to review this item again after I've had a chance to actually use it. Out of the box it looks super, cute, heavy little thing, just what I need to sharpen my knives. All parts lined up and look good...now what? How to assemble it? No real instructions that you can read as to what goes where. Number to call for tech support either so I'm at a stand still.
