I love this cabinet it’s just perfect for this space. I wanted a cabinet with shelves and not drawers. I didn’t want any glass either, glass n you spend too much time tryin to keep it clean.. I want to work less not more Lol but I also looked at the cabinet with the louvered doors and I had those in my bathroom that hid my washer n dryer and they collected dust bad . And they were unfinished so that rough surface was a pain and the other cabinet was like that only with what appeared to be stain maybe but didn’t look like paint to me anyway I settled on this one and my cousin came over n had it together in about an hour and 12. The doors matched up perfect and jus followed the instructions and it’s jus perfect. Love the looks of the doors on this one it looks expensive, but it’s great coz it’s the best 100. Bucks I’ve spent on FURNITURE. Prices have really gone up but I love that Wayfair takes care of us with these AWESOME SALES THEY HAVE EVERY YEAR AT SAME TIME .. mark your calendars.

This shoe cabinet is being used as a pantry in my kitchen. I love it so far. You can move the shelves around in the middle and on the taller side if you need to. On the taller side, without the added shelves, I can fit the tallest box of cereal and the taller alcohol/wine bottles without a problem. During assembly, I would recommend using a rubber mallet to be sure it is snug before tightening the cam screws. The instructions suggest two people for assembly. If you've put things together before, you can do 99% of it yourself on the floor. DO THE PREP WORK ALL AT ONCE FIRST. That takes up the most significant amount of time. Once that's done, assembling goes by in a flash. Don't be a hero and try to do it as you try to assemble it. It will triple the time it takes to do it. When it comes to putting on the bottom panel at the end, you should have help to make sure you can get it tight then stand it up. After that, one person can finish it. I'm going to purchase another one in the other color for board game storage.

It was hard for me to decide what to give this storage cabinet (was torn between a 3 & 4). All of the other reviews made sure that I managed my expectations, otherwise I think I might have been a little more sour had I not known what to expect. -Colour matches the picture -Yes, the package that arrives is big & HEAVY! It was difficult for both my husband and I to take it up the first set of stairs, at which point we took it apart and took the pieces up separately on the next flight of stairs. It is all compressed wood so each piece has a lot of weight to it. -The pieces are easy to scratch so be careful -It took a while to put this together, granted there are several drawers & shelves but they make sure to organize & label all the materials well so that it is easy to follow the instructions. -The two cupboard drawers do not close well like the others stated, based on someone elses suggestion I bought magnets so that they stick shut properly. But I was definitely disappointed that they just hang ajar like that had we not used the magnets. -It holds the capacity of shoes that it states - but the shelves allow for max 2-2.5 inch heels, after that (3,4 inch etc.) I found my shoes would not stand up unless I removed a shelf above to make room for them. I would have loved if they accounted for this in their design and separated the shelves with a few different heights or made them adjustable so that you could still use all the shelves but decide what heights you want to suit your needs. Overall - it is still very useful for holding the 30 pairs of shoes you would want in there, and doing so in a way that keeps them out of site & in a "nicer" looking piece of furniture. We took our time putting it together & made sure to secure all the pieces well & it definitely sturdy.

Extremely well built for the price. The paid attention to the little details. It was easy to put together, the instructions were very good. The cabinet is big enough to hold my 11 size shoes, and plenty of them. It also arrived promptly, well packaged. As usual, I recommend you look at the steps. Organize the stuff according to said steps. Assemble based on steps. Knowing what all the parts are and having them handy makes life very easy. A second person is recommended but not needed. Finally, use a power tool if you know how to control it, although the instructions say to not. Makes life much easier.

I purchased this cabinet to go behind a bar that I also purchased from Wayfair. It is sturdy and has a beautiful wood tone. It has so much more room than I thought. I am storing some collectible barware in it. I love the fact it has wheels so I can move the cabinet to relocate or clean behind. The chicken wire in the door frames remind me of a pie safe so this cabinet would be great for a dining room or kitchen as well. It is very sturdy and heavy. My husband built this in about 90 minutes and he didn't run into any problems doing so. The back of the cabinet definitely needs to go against a wall, but I think most people would put this size cabinet against a wall anyway. So glad I purchased this cabinet and it goes well with my Wayfair bar.

Love the cabinet. The assembly is rather easy until you have to add the legs. On the top of the silver portion, there is a line that I thought indicated that a portion could be removed. But no. You are actually removing the black cap at the bottom. (Image 1) This obviously creates a problem. You will be screwing the legs onto the bottom of the cabinet inside the cup-shaped legs. Difficult even with significant lightning. So, I suggest using a piece of double sided tape to hold the leg portion in place while screwing the legs in place. If you dont have an electric screwdriver, the tape becomes really handy, as you will need to make pilot holes. Yes, the manufacturer put holes everywhere else but not on the bottom to attach the legs.  Note, if you are going to move the cabinet, the black caps do fall off. Perhaps a bit of glue to hold them in place or an assistant to help move the cabinet will be a great idea.  Other than those few hiccups, its a great little piece.

This is a very nice looking cabinet and seems sturdy so far. I was a little disappointed in the hardware. It came with two defective screws that didn't have threads, nothing major. There were also no pilot holes for the plastic feet or back panel. Again, not a big deal, just not quite the quality of install we've experienced with other pieces. Overall we are happy with the cabinet. It may not work well with longer shoes, though. Some of our men's 12's were too long. Women's 9-10s fit just fine though.

It's great and sturdy! I love how sleek it is and I purchased 2 for the symmetry. This will hold a lot of shoes. I didn't give it 5 stars only because (1) they came in at the same time but one of them had a broken screw hole. It was on the side and seemed like the wood was a little dry rotted but the top and bottom piece holds it together so it will be fine and (2) the instructions aren't the easiest. They aren't horrible but no words and you REALLY have to pay attention to how you're putting it together. It's pretty heavy, the deliver guy was complaining. It's very sturdy and I did not secure it to the wall. I have a toddler and she hasn't pulled it over yet - it's a great piece!

Pretty solid, fits the bill, looks nice and I appreciate the slim profile, which was why I bought it. As others mentioned, it definitely doesn't fit the number of shoes it claims to (reason for removing a star). I've got maybe 2 pairs of women's sneakers, 2 pairs flip flops and 3 pairs of men's shoes in there and it's pretty much full. I would say 8 pairs TOPS. Assembly was a little fiddly and would have gone better with another pair of helping hands to get the tilt-out cabinets in place but I got it done. Most annoying part was all the little screws to affix the cardboard back panel, would have gone faster with nails. It's not high end or anything but for the price it's sturdy enough, looks clean and keeps random front entrance clutter down. Do not omit the wall anchor! You need it. My cat jumped up to investigate and it could have tipped forward had I not been there to hold it.

Im pretty happy with my purchase. I think the shelves are pretty low so I have to put the shoes in laying sideways as they were in the shoe box. If youre looking to store your shoes standing up youll have to either remove a shelf or two or find a different cabinet. For this reason Im also not the greatest fan of the smaller shelves on the right because I can only fit flats or one pair of adult sized shoes. Luckily I have a 5 year old so this is where her shoes are stored. The height of the cabinet is just below counter height so I use one as a sort of entryway shelf and the other cabinet is actually my nightstand. After a year of use the most used cabinet in my entryway has a broken magnet (used to hold the door shut.) Its not even on the door my 5yo uses so I know its not from rough use. All in all though Id say this was a great purchase though, it was also easy enough to screw back in. I just had to fill the hole and use a power screw driver. The shutters allow the shoes to be concealed but at the same time air out and its a timeless look. Im happy with my purchase.

I was looking for something to store my husbands shoes out of sight (we had originally been using a bookcase). This is a good quality piece of furniture. Usually I get hubby to put together furniture but I told him this time I would do it myself. I am not good at reading directions but the instructions included were very easy to follow. I had a problem figuring out how to adjust the door hinges so I had hubby do that. I love it! It fits his shoes perfectly and the drawer is a nice touch. I would recommend this! If I had enough room I would order another one!

It does the job! We have a narrow entry way and this fits perfectly in the space, and you can add home decor items on top to make it look pretty. We wanted a shoe rack that could be free-standing and this one does stand by itself (although the instructions do advise you to mount it to the wall), but it's not the most sturdy piece of furniture. It doesn't look as "cheap" as some others I've seen though! You do have to be careful when putting it together to make sure that the nails don't push through to the front - we *almost* pierced through the paint on the other side. Also, it definitely does NOT hold 10 pairs of shoes. I can fit 4 pairs of my shoes in one section (so long as I include one pair of summer sandals) and I'm a size 6! My husband uses the bottom drawer/pull out and can only fit 3 pairs in comfortably. Overall it's good but I do wish it was cheaper, all things considered.

Here are the before and after photos of the area where the shoe storage cabinet is located. It fits perfectly and although it says 15 shoe storage I can easily put more than 20. I turn 1 of the pair around and may stack a pair if you look closely. I will say it requires patience to put together because the directions are not that clear. I had difficulty with the base and feet because it required the Allen wrench and lots of muscle. Also, getting the doors to close evenly took some doing but you need to make sure every screw is tightened before adjusting the doors. I think it is great value.

I love this so much!! I’m happy with this purchase! So it came a day early than estimated. It’s pretty heavy but I was able to get it inside the door by myself by flipping(?) it. (Kinda like rolling but it’s not round so yeah..Don’t know how to call it.Lol!) Packaging was okay, product wasn’t damaged. All good! Assembly was a bit confusing because it only had a 4-step instructions with only pictures of which part goes where and it was a bit confusing for me. So we really took our time to figure it out first. If you’re not used to assembling then do take your time and don’t screw them tightly unless you’re sure. Or have someone who knows do it with you. Make sure the unfinished sides of the panels are facing the back. It’s easy to forget about it on this one because color of the finished and unfinished side is almost the same. The last step about the door installation was very confusing because there’s so many parts. (I think they should make applying the magnets a spearate step. Lol!) I also saw a review about the doors that were not even. I think it’s just the placement of the magnet. You can actually adjust the magnet back and forth if you loosen the screw a bit and just make sure to tighten it back after. It happened to me but my boyfriend knew what to do. I attached pictures of the magnet so you can see the screw. Anyway, the size of it is pretty good. My boyfriend wears a men’s size 8 and I wear a women’s 7.5. It’s really nice and I love the color. I also picked this on purpose because of it’s doors. I want that ventilation so shoes wouldn’t stink.

I'd give it a 3 1/2. Arrived in good shape, no damage, all parts were in the kit box. Finished, it appears as in the picture. A fine piece but for one flaw- the doors are too wide and overlap when you close them. I can force them to close, but you have to squeeze them together and I imagine something is bending or torquing out a screw somewhere. I 1/16 off of each door would have done it. The hinges allow for adjustment, but not for the condition of overlapping doors. Other than that, the cabinet serves its purpose. Also note that the cabinet is designed for people with small feet. My size 15s have to go in on an angle. My daughter's size 7s fit fine...

This is a really nice piece and exactly what I expected and hoped for. The directions were okay but could be better. All the parts were included and all precut holes aligned fine. The only thing missing was precuts for the 5 feet so had to screw in without. Doing this for 5 feet each with 4 holes was a pain but I was able to get it done. My daughter helped and having an extra person to help is something I recommend if possible It took about 2 hours to complete. I suggest laying out all the like pieces together and work in a good size room. You only need a screwdriver and hammer. Pay close attention to the numbers on all the pieces and the pics in the instructions. Dont over tighten. This is composite wood not oak. For me everything lined up fine and all the doors close properly. The one negative is the shelves are a bit short and if you have big feet the doors may not close all the way. I am only a 9.5 and mine just make it . In the end this came out great. Ok

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cabinet. It is sturdy and seems to be well-made. It is a very nice looking piece offurniture with a rich dark -brown finish. My Kitchen cabinets are espresso, and they are almost the same color. They go together very well. As you will note in the photo, the knobs do not align perfectly, but for the money I paid for it, I can live with this slight issue. The hinges are sturdy and the magnets work perfectly. The cabinet was packaged well and there were no scratches or damage to any of the parts. It shipped almost immediately after Ipurchased it. I can’t speak to the directions myself, but my husband put it together in just about one hour. As advertised, it holds approximately 15 pairs of shoes, but if you stack them a bit you can easily fit many more pairs in the cabinet. I can see that this cabinet would have many uses beyond shoe storage. It would be great to hold files, books, DVDs or just about anything else that you want to hide behind closed doors. I considered ordering he Carnegie 18 Pair Shoe Storage Cabinet for a few weeks before I finally purchased it and I’m happy I did. I couldn’t decide because of the slats on the doors, but ultimately purchased it because of the price. Even though my shoes are in a cabinet, because of the door slats, they will still get dusty and I can see the shoes on the shelves. I would prefer a solid door to hide them. The cabinet wasn’t too difficult to put together. I do wish it was made of a little better quality material, but for the price, it’s really what I expected. When, I was putting in a screw, the screwdriver slipped and the screw popped out causing very small pieces of the bottom, around the screw hole, to chip off with the screw. It looked more like “crumbs” falling off because of the material. If I had been more careful though, this wouldn’t have happened. The only complaints I really have are the slats on the doors seem like they will break easily and there’s glue showing around them, which I’m hoping I can remove. But, overall and for the price, it’s a good storage cabinet.
