Love at first taste! The DeLonghi Elleta is the best expresso machine I’ve ever owned! What a difference in the quality of coffee the Elleta makes. I was skeptical at first to purchase an expensive expresso machine; however, the Elleta surpassed all my expectations. From the first sip of coffee made by the Elleta, I was sold on the machine. It’s worth its price as it makes phenomenal coffee. It comes with two milk frothers: one for hot beverages and one for cold brew. So far I’ve only tried the hot beverages. They are beyond delicious, way better than coffee shop coffees. The milk frother creates a foam that comes out thick and creamy. The coffee has a consistency that is thick and creamy rather than watery. This is something regular machines can’t pull off. The Elleta cleans itself before and after every use making it ideal and always well maintained. The Specifications: The water reservoir was a feature that was difficult to research as to how much water it can hold. I was hesitant when I saw 8 fl oz in the product description. Rest assured it’s way bigger than that and can hold 60 fl oz. I was also concerned about the cup sizes. This is something that the Elleta allows you to customize to your needs and fills up to 16 fl oz. The unboxing and setting up of the Elleta was overwhelming at first, but as you start the DeLonghi, it takes you through an easy to use tour. The Elleta comes with a photo book of various coffee drinks and how to prepare them. It even allows you to set up four profiles to customize your coffee beverages and how you like your coffee. Overall, the Elleta is very much worth every penny! Its features and the quality of coffee is something that is important when shopping for an expresso machine.

I was really tentative to spend so much on a machine, but it works great. I love that I can just pour whole beans in, and the cup of coffee or latte it makes taste amazing. I spent more since this also makes cold brew, but haven't used the cold feature too much yet (though it does make a great iced latte). The froth is surprisingly good from a machine, but my chief complaints have been that I haven't been able to connect the app to it since buying it a few months ago (seems to be a problem for a lot of people from a google search), and the fact that when it turns on/off, it flushes water out. I bought a small decorative dish to keep on the tray for that water, it's a small annoyance but I understand it keeps the machine clean. Pleasant surprise buying from Wayfair that coupons worked on it.

A few call outs, needs a larger water capacity, I understand it makes cappuccino but I use it for Americanoto take to work in the morning and at most I get 2 cups, I use the largest setting, before needs refilling. Secondly, the water drip tray that needs emptying every 2 uses on the setting I use. This gets frustrating in the morning when in a rush to work that you need to fill it with water and or need to empty the water drip tray. If your going to create an appliance for many uses, take into the consideration the capacities, great for all that you make is cappuccino, but for larger coffee styles not so good.

Did not get coffee hot enough.

My wife loves the cold brew coffee & I love the chia tea lattes! Add your chia tea mixture and your choice of dairy into the LatteCrema hot system and select "Hot Milk" and what comes out is a Starbucks-quality Chia Latta!

I love it! Perfect for my family and makes a variety of coffee drinks or team temps. I highly recommend!

Fantastic upgrade from Nespresso. I held off on buying for a while because of the price, but it is amazing. The settings took some getting used to, but a few cups in and Im getting the hang of it.
