It is actually a pretty solid car port. high ceilings. I do agree with that one reviewer - if only they made the bolts a couple mm longer, it would make set up so much quicker. This yr I added storage by using 2 x 6 x 12 PT across the last three supports and put a deck on them. I also used PT decking around the outside of the posts and boxed in the whole building making it even sturdier and keeping rodents out. I used 2x6x12 also across the rear door to make it far less likely for a breakin the front is visible to me. I added two tire racks on the back wall for my winter-summer tires. I also added LED lighting inside and a security camera. Snow just rolls off.......not even a slight concern. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone.
