Finally broke down and spent the money on great knife. For anybody who doesn't think it's worth it, it is! This knife was exactly what I wanted, and I know its extra sharp because its new, but the quality steel will hold that edge much longer, and the wide blade is a definite plus over a standard blade when chopping and scooping up stuff to toss in a pan.
