I like the looks of the desk, its size and functionality - it works. The cost was higher than some, but in my opinion was worth it (I don't buy a computer desk everyday). The only reason I'm giving this desk 4 stars is because the top, keyboard and bottom shelf's had chipped corners right out of the box (see pics). The box itself looked in decent shape including the corners. The chipped pieces were still in the box so the chips must have been from careless handling. Can't say if it happened before or after FedEx handled it. I was fortunate that each damaged shelf, when assembled, could be placed so the chip areas are at the rear of the desk and not visible. Once again, other than the chips, I like the desk and didn't find it as hard to assembled as other reviews stated.
