I got this 6 pack of dinner plates so that I could check out the colors, design and just get a feel for the quality, BEFORE I commit to purchasing the set. I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. The ribbed texture and two toned design are my favorite thing. It makes the dishes look very modern and distinct. Very happy with these plates. I wasn't sure from the photo if the sides of the plate were perfectly round or a bit more hand-crafted, but I was pleased to see they're more artisan, hand-crafted - although you can still stack them. 10" is definitely big enough for a dinner plate and they have some depth to them, which is very nice.
