Don't bother, find a better product, especially for the cost! I purchased mine a couple of months ago and it is flimsy, doesn't glide nicely at all. It is so difficult to open and close it that it has been ripped out of the wall already even with using plugs as you have to shake the gate a bit to have it glide back and forth. Very unimpressed and this certainly wouldn't be suitable on a set of stairs!

The latch failed after less than 2 mths when my 12 mth old shook the gate. It opened completely with my son hanging over the stairwell. He could’ve fallen and probably wouldn’t have survived. When I called, “she will pass the info on to team”.

I purchased this gate to block my crawling baby from falling down the basement stairs. The bars came apart from the frame of the gate- offering zero safety from the stairs. We had it up for less than one week. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing to say the least.

Works perfect for our banister to wall! Very simple to install and very small amounts of drilling holes!

Did not work well when you have tall baseboard on either side. Really nice material and look when installed.

Great option for putting in the doorway of a toddler's room to keep children safe and your pets from entering without you present. The instructions for installation could have been clearer but I am not typically known as a "handy" person when it comes to putting items together. The handle makes it fairly easy to latch / unlatch even when carrying a baby or other items.

While the gate was well made and matched well with my home’s decor, installation was a tad difficult. Definitely not a one person job. We have three dogs and a daughter who is crawling. In the past we have had issues with gates not staying up or causing damage to our walls. So far this gate has held up very well and no damage even after accidental bumps and movement from one doorway to another. We love the walkthrough. Also another feature that is much appreciated is the latching system. Much easier to use than previous ones we have purchased. We as a family would definitely recommend this gate, just make sure you have an installation partner.

This gate is great!! Once you install it's steady and stays right in place. The handle makes it easy for me(mom) to get though with no problems. The option of length is great because you can use it in any opening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby gate has a very sleek look to it being black instead of the normal plastic . It was very easy to put up and seems to be holding up well. The lock does stick a little and I had to show my older kiddos a few times how to use it but it’s defiantly keeping our youngest and our puppy down stairs ! Highly recommend.

I love the product as I have an older house and some gates do not match up to my staircase and it serves the purpose of protecting baby from any accidents. I like the modern look and color of the gate. Also I like the fact that its made of wood and not plastic.
