Solid, well-made, and most important, comfortable! You don't "sink into" the cushions, which while supportive, are not at all too hard in my view. I decided on four stars only because the very nice leather has an intentional "mottled look," which isn't my favorite, but I'll get used to it. Great construction and really good sofa. Feels very comfortable and the fold out bed is also very sturdy. Only downsides would be that it is a really wide sofa with just 2 seats instead of 3 and the fact that the mattress is a little thin to allow to fit into the enclosure. In love with this sofa because it is extremely comfortable, even though it’s not real leather. The stitching is very line and even. The back is a comfortable height, even for my 6’7” husband. The legs are not of the best quality but I intend on purchasing some nice walnut colored ones from WayFair. This sofa upholstery goes perfectly with all my Walnut colored woods in the room. Beautiful sofa. It sits a little stiff right now-I hope it’s due to being well built. After acclimating to my room perhaps the firmness will relax a little. The leather is soft and supple.
