The benches are great! They are just as I expected. I purchased them to keep school backpacks, shoes, and sports bags for my two kids. They each get one bench! One bench had a hinge loose with a screw down in the box. I had to screw both screws to the hinge back in, but other than that, set up was quick. I LOVE this bench. It was exactly what we needed to have a more welcoming entry way. I love the arms for our older parents who need additional support standing up. Really great entryway bench. There were some parts that did not connect flush but the space is small. Fairly easy to put together, even came with a Phillips head screwdriver. I bought this storage bench to place at the foot of my bed and it looks very nice. The material is a neutral gray and would probably go well in any decor. The downside to this bench is that it’s very hard and not comfortable to sit on. Once you do sit on it, the material immediately wrinkles and leaves an impression. Really nice looking. I can't really call it a solid piece of furniture, but it'll definitely serve it's purpose for storing a couple extra heavy blankets or a heavy comforter. I weigh about 235 pounds and I sit on it to tie my work books with no problems. I wouldn't stand on it thought as the top probably isn't sturdy enough to hold that amount of concentrated weight.. Very nice looking bench. Very sturdy lid and can support weight of over 200 pounds sitting on it. But, the lid is loose from the boots, and its very heavy. I have it I have it in our daughter room as a toy chest, and it can come down hard on a little arm or hand without assistance. Otherwise, it has is awesome and has held up really well. Katie.
