Absolutely love these curtains! They are thick enough to give privacy while still thin enough to allow soft light thru so I wouldn’t say they are total black out curtains. The color is perfect, less yellow than my photos make them appear. I also love that you can hang them using the rod pocket or pinch pleat option, depending on your style. These were perfect! I didn't realize how difficult it was to find curtains for 8-ft windows, and Wayfair came through. We built our house to make use of the most natural light we could, so I wanted them to let light in but not be completely sheer. I also wanted the material to be light enough that I can draw them back just over the door/window frames, and they wouldn't extend over the glass. They are the perfect curtain for us not to feel exposed at night and to watch TV while still getting some light in the house during the day. I like the longer look at the bottom and I haven't steamed them yet so they look wrinkled in the photos. PS: They are the perfect shade of "greige", which is the color of my living room (really, it's called Sherwin Williams Perfect Greige), so they really just feel like an extension of the wall - which is what we were looking for.. Very impressed with this great value blackout curtain set (TWO PANELS!). Sure there were some minor wrinkles from being folded in the packaging, but if you pop them in the dryer for a short period with a damp cloth, the wrinkles will disappear. The curtains VERY EFFECTIVELY BLOCKED OUT ALMOST ALL OF THE SUNLIGHT - and I live in Las Vegas where it seems it's extra bright! The nice oversized grommets on the top made it super easy to put onto my curtain rod. The color 'grey' didn't show very accurately in my pictures, but it is a nice medium grey color, not dark, not too light. I ordered these in Taupe, and absolutely love them! I’m unable to get a good picture of the color with my lighting in the bedroom, but they are a true taupe and not a tannish taupe. They were a bit darker than my taupe bedspread but up on the windows it’s hard to tell. The material is very soft and they came straight out of packaging onto my windows with no wrinkles.
