I am in love with my room. And I’m in love with Wayfair. I have slowly bought pieces for throughout my house. (Not pictured are 2 other fully furnished bedrooms, a built in bathroom caddy, sitting room furniture, a fully furnished living room, and toy room, also fully furnished.) I plan on reviewing each of those rooms separately as well. This room? Super cheap but expensive looking. Very classy and beautiful. I BUILT EACH PIECE BY MYSELF, A 5 FT 3 IN/130 LB WOMAN, WITH ONLY THE TOOLS PROVIDED AND A HAMMER (very easily and rarely used) I have had so many people ask about my room and my place, I have listed all the pieces pictured for this room as well as the place/price I bought them. As for this product itself: Well... Best and most unique bed frame I’ve ever had!!!! Buying a metal bed was a noise risk, but it’s not noisy at all. It’s a square frame instead of round, so it fits together snuggly with no rattling. It is not a cheap or thin metal. It’s pretty thick and sturdy feeling. The shape of the bars and connection points makes it a quiet/still bed. Strong and sturdy as it is, it’s still fairly easy to move around to make the bed. Feels light/maneuverable and doesn’t damage the floor. A couple of things about assembly. It is hard to put together alone but not exactly impossible either. (NONE OF THE WAYFAIR PIECES I BOUGHT REQUIRED A SECOND PERSON!!!) The box is very heavy but the parts are well labeled, everything is included, directions understandable. Read the directions first and identify the parts before starting. Makes putting it together super easy and less confusing. Pay attention to the arrows in the directions so that things are facing the proper way, can’t stress that enough. There were multiple points during assembly that I almost put it together the wrong way because 2 parts or direction of parts look so similar. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY OF ASSEMBLY PISSIBLE. If you aren’t closely following and have something backwards, you will need to backtrack, (caught that from the comments before starting) This is why I can’t stress enough that you should read the directions in full before starting. If you do so and follow the pictures very carefully, it’s impossible to screw up. I never had to backtrack. One other important note. If you plan on putting curtains on, make sure that you do that during the proper part of assembly. Otherwise you will have to unscrew the top and juggle the rods in angles that add stress to the frame. This project took me about two hours altogether, by myself. I also need to note that I did not lay the bed on its side. Per warning of other buyers who had to pull theirs apart and put them back together again because it was too tall to turn. After my assembly, I realized I would have had no problem doing that. And it may have even made it easier. But just air on the safe side as I did, and don’t assemble it sideways. Aesthetically? There were a couple small scrapes and a dent (very small) in one rod but as other commenters have said, you can hardly tell. It’s such a thick frame that it does not ruin the aesthetic nor the strength of the frame. All in all, a beautiful bed frame. SO WORTH THE PRICE!!! I used no box spring, it isnt necessary. Sorry for the novel, just excited about my purchase. Get this bed and buy your furniture from wayfair. Cheap great products. Huge selections. Worth the extra work of assembly every time!!!. I ordered these in Taupe, and absolutely love them! I’m unable to get a good picture of the color with my lighting in the bedroom, but they are a true taupe and not a tannish taupe. They were a bit darker than my taupe bedspread but up on the windows it’s hard to tell. The material is very soft and they came straight out of packaging onto my windows with no wrinkles. They have a slight sheen to them and appear to be much more expensive than they were. I gave them a 5 star rating and would definitely buy them again!. Lisa. HENDERSONVILLE, TN. 2021-06-15 20:04:13
