This metal, folding shelf is great. I bought one in black and quickly ordered a second in the same color. Its dimensions were just what I was looking for in a shelf to fit into the small spaces in my apartment. No real set-up needed at all -- just open it up and unfold the shelves. Takes one minute. The second shelf I ordered came with one of the small feet broken in the box. I was worried about having to send the whole thing back, but I sent a message through Wayfair requesting them to simply send me a new foot and I would screw it onto the shelf myself. They did all the coordination with the manufacturer, I received an email that the replacement part was on its way, and within 2-3 days, a new foot arrived in my mailbox and I was able to put it on easily. Shelf is sturdy, looks great just like in the picture. Recommended.

Very lightweight and easy to put it together. We purchased a couple of these for storage in my wife's arts and crafts room. It's perfect for her craft supplies and balls of yarn. They fit perfectly in the closet to hide them away - would recommend them for any lightweight storage needs. Also, one box was short one rod needed to complete assembly. I emailed the company's customer service and they had a replacement part out asap and I received it in less than a week - thanks Rita you rock!

This shelving unit is a bargain. I bought it for use in the kitchen. It's sturdy and offers plenty of storage space. Conveniently, it comes with a choice of either adjustable feet or swivel casters. Where uneven floors are involved the adjustable feet would be the way to go. In any case, I'm not sure it would be wise to move the unit on its casters if heavily laden. Regarding assembly, it's very straightforward if you read the instructions and examine the parts first. Note that the plastic sleeves that clamp around the uprights to support the shelves are marked to indicate the correct vertical placement. The four uprights come as eight pieces that screw together in pairs. One thing that would make assembly easier would be NOT to follow the instruction that tell you to fully assemble the uprights before adding shelves. This is the trickiest part of assembly to get things aligned so that the shelves slide down the poles to lock onto the sleeves. It would be easiest with two people. However, it would be to manage if you did this. Screw the casters or feet into the bottom (Female thread) of the lower section of each of the four uprights. Clamp sleeves to each pole at the lowest possible click-point above the casters. Place one self on the floor with the lip facing up. Insert the four poles into the corner holes of the shelf, then lift the shelf so that it slides up the poles towards the sleeves. Then flip this assembly over so it's standing on the casters and tap the shelf firmly onto the sleeves. Now you have a sturdy base onto which you can add another set of sleeves and a second shelf. At this point, it's much easier to screw on the top section of each pole and continue to add sleeves and shelves until you reach the top. Note the spacing of shelves if fully adjustable and not permanent. You could readjust later by tapping a shelf upward of the sleeves and repositioning.

I’ve had this less than a month but so far, so good. I can’t speak on longevity of this item but it seems sturdy enough to last quite a while. This was easy to put together for me and I'm not a DIYer, nor am I big and strong. I had to tilt it down or put it on its side to add the topmost shelves, but that really wasn't very difficult. I even did it with the wheels on. These units look nice and hopefully they’re recyclable when they come to the end of their life which hopefully will be only after many years. I didn't have any issues with damage nor breakage from the delivery process. All the pieces were there, even a few extra plastic clips. I installed the wheels rather than the leveling feet. The shelves seems to measure exactly as the measurements are in this description on Wayfair, according to my humble tape measure. I don't have tons of stuff on the shelves so I don't know if it will truly hold the weight that it says it will. I bought two of these units in black, and again, they look nice. I really wish they sold more shelves for this, and at a decent price. I’d like shorter spaces so I don’t have to pile things on top of one another. I’m not using these in a garage or basement but rather right in my living spaces so the ability to have more and smaller spaces would be ideal. I probably have about a hundred pounds or so on each of these and they move easily with that. I’m sure they will hold quite a bit more but I have no idea if it will really be as sturdy with the labeled weight limit in the description. There doesn’t seem to be any unsturdiness as is and I don’t fear it tipping when I move it but I also don’t push it carelessly. I can scoot it over a few feet with one hand and probably farther if needed. In my small space, shelves on wheels are ideal because I can put them in front of things like closets or windows and move them easily when needed. The biggest pain, which isn’t a fault, was trying to decide how tall I wanted each shelving space to be. I had to measure my small appliances and count notches to make sure things were even, I didn’t need equidistant spaces. I put the biggest space on the bottom and that’s where I put the heavier stuff, which makes sense to me in case there are ever any tipping issues, which I don’t think there will be. I also bought some S-Hooks to hang stuff on the sides (bags, cords, anything that’s hangable) and that’s working well also. I prefer these 18" deep shelves over the 14" because that 4” makes a difference for me. I do have a couple of the 14" deep steel shelves too in narrower areas. Honestly, so far, I can't see anything wrong with these two I bought. All the pieces were there. The instructions were clear and were picture instructions. There are too many hard plastic packing pieces that don't seem to be recyclable but it didn't seem to have too different of an amount of pieces than the other two brands of shelving I purchased. The box was a plain brown box with black print and that makes me happy because I’m sure they are are recyclable. Plain brown cardboard box that's absolutely recyclable will do for me, I don’t need fancy advertising. I paid 92 for these and am thinking of getting a couple more if the price goes back down. I’d like to replace the cheaper plastic shelves I purchased that don’t have wheels on them at all.

This is not done, but I did want to do a review now that its up. I have been having pantry envy off some of my FB groups and we have lived in this home for 5 years now and at the end of the shelf was a water heater up until yesterday. Since we opted for stack able washer and dryers and having the ability to move things IF they needed to be serviced this shelf cam in and answered all the things we wanted because its even on wheels! I have more organizing to do and things to add to the top shelf but that is coming. Meanwhile I do not have to worry I do not have room for my kitchen toys (not this is not even all of them got lots more) but I wanted a space that they were all together at a glance and you knew where it was. VERY Happy with my purchase!

I'm not sure I got the product I ordered (Esther 77" H x 60" W x 24" D Shelving Unit by Dotted Line.) But the one I got from Aimee appears to be the same thing. I was elated that it came with all the parts and nothing was damaged in shipping. It's big! But I have enough stuff to store on it. I watched assembly videos and installed the wheels. When my plumber finished the job I hired him to do, he helped me assemble the unit. Easy peasy!

arrived in perfect condition. easy to put together. took a little time and patience, being only me but that's cool. i enjoyed it. the floor in my old house is on a slight slope and the wheel locks keep in securely in place. i like that you can space the shelves however you like, within the stability guidelines (lowest shelf has to be within certain distance from floor). the shininess contrasts nicely with my giant wood and iron dining room table, i think. will hold all my extra kitchen stuff that won't fit in my tiny kitchen (very limited cabinet space). i already like how i can display my coffee mugs, etc. kinda looks like the storage area of a restaurant, haha. which i like. with some more plants and maybe a few flowers here and there, it will be super pretty/industrial. i'm all about contrasts.

Nice little shelves! We bought 3 sets of these to put in the inside corners of our closets to give us space to put stuff up off the floor. We have put this kind of shelving together several times over the years so we were familiar with how to do them. The important thing is to make sure you get the shelves down evenly and firmly on the black pieces that go on the tubing. Also make sure to level them. Ours were stable and sturdy! We decided to use the smaller ones that come with the silver shelving in the center of the closets separately from the bigger one and place them in the center of the closet to hold extra blankets and boxes of shoes. mine came with instructions just saying, some people in reviews were complaining about no instructions.

Oh my gosh, what a dream! I know, its "only" a shelving system, but it's so far and beyond one we bought last week from a diff store. That one ended up not being the right size, and even if it was I prob wouldnt have kept it. Everytime I got the bottom shelf over the 4 legs, if I moved it to see if it would fit, it fell apart! The plastic covers that clip together on each pole which then the shelves are supp to go down over, snapped off every time and never lined up well. This shelf set was 100% easier!! The same identical look as the other, diff brand, same little snap on plastic pieces for under the shelves, but these actually fit into predrilled tiny holes on the poles so they don't slide or pop off as you slide the shelf over them. What a diff! Put it together, on a whim, at midnight on my way to bed... I was finished in 20 -30 mins, including unpacking and unwrapping all the pieces and piles! It fits perfectly in my laundry/pantry room. Only brand I'll buy from now on, Wayfair Rocks!

I really wish they sold more shelves for this, and at a decent price. We just recently moved and had additional storage space in the basement and my first attempt to organize was putting everything stacked up on the floor. These shelves were my first attempt to get organized and they did exactly that. High-quality materials, easy assembly, plenty of space. Absolutely will pick up more of these for my garage. Effectiveness The system can hold a ton of things. The before and after of the room was amazing, previously we had trouble walking into the room and finding anything. Now everything is right there easy to see, easy to get to, and best of all there seems to be more space to deal with.QualityEverything about this set screams quality, metal is solid and screams durable. Once I put this together and got everything on it it didn't seem flimsy, it seemed the exact opposite. Had some delivery delays and the boxes turned up a couple days later in ROUGH shape, but luckily all the pieces were there and I really love the finished shelves. My dad and I put 2 of them together in ~1.5 hrs, and only because we had to flip around a couple of pieces. We chose not to install the very top shelf so that I could stack a double layer of bins. Agree with other reviewers who say the particle board shelf bottoms are not the best quality. I almost wrote in to Customer Service to request at least 2 replacement boards, since the corners were broken off, but it ended up being fine. I wouldn't put these anywhere you might get moisture, since that would definitely ruin them.

I was looking for an 8-tier rack for my linen closet that I could mount to the door, unseen, until the door was opened. While you can opt to mount to a hollow core door per the instruction on the back of the box, hardware is not included for that option. You must purchase hollow door and drywall anchors, rated to hold up to 40#. The safest options are to use the over-the-door hooks, mount to a wall using the drywall hardware, also included or attach to a solid door. I didn’t want to take the chance of having to replace a hollow core closet door so soon after moving into my new home so I opted to use the over the door hooks. This was easy to assemble using the hangers. After connecting and hanging the rails on both sides I hung several of the baskets into place to make sure all the rails were in perfect alignment and proceeded to mark off the places of attachment. Hardware is included; no extra trips to the hardware store, yeah! What I really like about this rack, over others that I’ve had, is the three corrals that are included with this rack. They are an extra security that prevents taller bottles from toppling over when you close the closet door. Overall an “A-“ - not due to the product itself but rather the instructions. It seemed odd to print them on the back of the box. It was cumbersome to try to read as you go about assembling the rack. A better choice would be a printed sheet inside the box, please. As it was I had to down load them from their website. Since there is no page break only the first third of the instructions printed. I had to reduce the print field size by 50% making for tiny font- tiny print. Not fun to read. Opt for an instruction sheet Closet Maid.

I bought this shelving unit pre-Covid-19 for my small office at work. It fit perfectly over my mini-fridge and was able to safely hold my microwave and coffee bar items. My office floor is carpeted so that helped with stability. Now that I am working from home, I use the shelving unit to hold snacks and a few coffee bar items. I placed it in my dining room which has hardwood floors and it still remained stable. However, the shelving unit was not aesthetically right for the room. I moved it to the basement for storing perishable foods and bought the Macon 63" H x 29.88 W Metal Etagere Bookcase. This is item is so awesome and definitely aesthetically right! I'll be reviewing that as well and may include a picture. Stay safe!

Our new house does not have the storage space of our previous house. I needed a place to put my seasonal decorations. I loved how light-weight this unit is and it was easy to put together. I agree with other reviewers who said it was next to impossible to find the correct-sized bin to fit over the front and back tubes of each cubby. We followed someone's advice and put planks down across the width of each level. Also, if you look at one of the pictures, you can see how my garage wall has two levels. My husband had to measure and cut one of the supports in order to attach the unit. But you can see we have filled it up.
