I wasn’t sure if this (very) small sewing machine could do the job of a bigger one, but I was pleasantly surprised. It worked great for hemming up pants, fixing small tears (in curtains), & other mi or issues that require stitching.
I wouldn’t recommend using it for thicker materials, such as, heavy duvet covers/comforters or plush curtains, but lighter materials are perfectly fine.
I will say the small size can be a bit cumbersome for some people, although I didn’t have many issues with it. Just make to sure place it on a big table that allows the material (your working on) can spread out on. If the material is hanging down, then it can be more difficult to maneuver it through the machine.
One small issue I found is that machine is somewhat lightweight, so make sure you have a firm grip on it when sewing.
If you’re looking to do minor sewing, hemming, or fixes, this is a great little machine to use. But if you’re serious in seeing bigger heavier items and sew a lot of stuff, then I suggest to invest in a good solid normal size sewing machine.
