Great machine! Walking foot, heavy duty. Sews V-92 and V-138 thread. (most home machines max out at V-69) This is the 4 wheel drive pickup truck of sewing machines. Does heavy canvas, webbing, sails, leather. Basically anything that will fit under the 1/4" foot opening can be sewn - short of metal plating! This machine is made in China and sold under many different names from as many different outlets. A well-known, refined and certainly value-added version of this machine sells for almost $1,000.00. That was the only version I knew of for many years. I was thrilled to find this one for about 1/3 the price. The Wayfair sale price was by far the lowest for this machine I've seen anywhere. Btw, parts are readily available from the "well known" company mentioned above including some nice upgrades you can use. Google "walking foot" sewing machine and you'll find it.

Machine is good. Just two things ,first its not 1010 as it has few scratches on side where we attach it with table. Secondly it just come with one extra needle. First needle bended during trial and I am left with the last one. I couldnot find any video tutorial for yamata online so saw few tutorials for other blind hemmers and got an idea how to play with yamata. I hope it will make my work easy. I have purchased 2 year protection plan too but didnt recieve any document online or in a reciept form.

Like the idea, but for price its not worth it. Its pretty mis shaped on the bottom. Im used to Wayfair stuff being dented, not all parts, but this one was pretty bad. The wood and frame definitely dont fit on either level. It would be worth 100, but not what I paid.

I bought this for my new sewing machine in which i havent gotten to use yet. But it did come early. It has a lot of cute colors. I will have another review after I actually use it. Also, I mistakenly got my emails mixed up wen i ordered this and my sewing machine and somehow ended up with 2 thread packages and 2 sewuming machines. I did return 1 of the sew machines, But ended up keeping the other threads bc of the lots of pretty colors. And all the stuff that came with it that I'm pretty sure I'm going to need anyways. It works great! I had some slacks that needed to be hemmed. I don't know how to sew, but I was able to do it with this handheld sewing machine. Next, I'm going to make my own masks!

I originally bought 2 little singer sewing machines that weren"t worth the boxes they were in. My granddaughters were so disappointed when they got them and the first machine just wouldn't stitch and the other the needle broke right away and there are no replacements or info on replacements. Figured based on ratings I would try these and my granddaughters ages 7 and 8 are thrilled. These work like a grown up sewing machine, bobbin and all, plus an extra needle is included, just in case. They started sewing as soon as I got them both threaded which took hardly any time at all. It's been smooth sewing and they have been creating happily, since. Pros: just the right size, easy to thread and use, secure stitches Cons: not really a con but a light would be a bonus

Five stars for sure!!,..I bought this sewing machine for my granddaughter,..just recently I purchased a few sewing machine for my from wayfair, a eversewn Charlotte sewing machine and every time she comes to my house she runs in singing..grandma lets go sew,!..she lives an hour away from me, and she is constantly on her phone,.seriously..so I thought if I buy her a sewing machine maybe she could use and pick up a new hobby, and it worked, she now draws pictures of outfits and says she will design clothes! Lol, she is 8 years old, Im 59 and I still remember in school when we had to pick out a few classes wed be interested in, my first project was a pillowcase for mothers day...anyway Im hopeful kids will think about picking up hobbies instead of being on their phones all day and night..

I was very skeptical about this sewing machine. See I have not used a sewing machine in a long time, always had problems with them. Okay could of been me. Well let me tell you when this arrived, it was so light, I thought hummmmmm, wasn’t sure. Well I set it up had to sew so material from my patio chairs. Wow, Wow, Wow. Love it! Was so easy works perfect, I am going to try to sew a couple of things, like a apron. Just love it. Very simple. I would definitely recommend this little guy. Absolutely Love it.

I truly love this machine the stitches are great the variety of dishes are great the directions are really easy to read the instruction booklet is pretty thorough. Except for the fact that you can’t, or that it doesn’t tell you that you should adjust some of the stitch length but I really do like it it’s fairly light but not to light a pretty good weight for doing any kind of projects

Not a bad little machine. Wish that stitch sizing was clearer, be it metric or English (i.e., inches, feet, etc.), and I wish that the machine itself was heavier in weight - it does tend to slide around a bit. Nonetheless, I made some good face masks using it and plan to make drapes in the future.

I havent had the chance to sew too much with this machine but so far it is so much better than my singer. It is a little on the heavy side but that is to be expected. It has sewn easily through vinyl, multiple layers of heavy duty material and has been forgiving if I have made mistakes like forgetting to put the foot down. I love the top loading bobbin. I am a beginner but this machine has made sewing jobs so much easier. Turns out a lot of my issues were that I didnt have a machine that could handle what i was sewing through.

So far I am really enjoying sewing face masks with this machine. I use to have a kenmore, but I like the Janome much better, it is much easier to use and I luv the extra sewing platform. I hope to make curtains next, then pillow covers, and finally a quilt. Thank You Janome!

As a beginner, this machine was perfect for me for its ease of use and the preset settings. I took one star off because the user manual could have been much clearer for a beginner (inserting the thread through the thread take up lever) and there are some minor issues with bobbin winding lately. Overall, I'm happy with this sewing machine and I hope it works well for all my upcoming projects.

ok, so this is the cutest LITTLE sewing machine I have ever seen. I don't know what I thought I was getting for this price, I did not see where it said Mini or small in the title. But its compact, light weight and cute. It was easy to set up and hemmed my pants in no time. Now that I have it, I like it better that it is smaller, but I would not have bought it if I had known the size!!

Don't let the title of this product mislead you...It really is not a "kit"...I purchased it for the thread and was not left disappointed! I just purchased a new Singer sewing machine and these spools of thread. I was a bit hesitant since there was such a low cost for so much thread on each spool. I am pleased with the quality and the variety of colors. Actually threaded bobbins with each of the colors . Would recommend this product.

I wasn’t sure if this (very) small sewing machine could do the job of a bigger one, but I was pleasantly surprised. It worked great for hemming up pants, fixing small tears (in curtains), & other mi or issues that require stitching. I wouldn’t recommend using it for thicker materials, such as, heavy duvet covers/comforters or plush curtains, but lighter materials are perfectly fine. I will say the small size can be a bit cumbersome for some people, although I didn’t have many issues with it. Just make to sure place it on a big table that allows the material (your working on) can spread out on. If the material is hanging down, then it can be more difficult to maneuver it through the machine. One small issue I found is that machine is somewhat lightweight, so make sure you have a firm grip on it when sewing. If you’re looking to do minor sewing, hemming, or fixes, this is a great little machine to use. But if you’re serious in seeing bigger heavier items and sew a lot of stuff, then I suggest to invest in a good solid normal size sewing machine.

Very convenient and effective spotlight. I like that it's flexible and can be used on anther sewing machine using the included extra attachment. Only wish the neck was a little longer because the sewing machine I bought it for is an old Kenmore (about 48 years old) and the light bulb gets hot so I can't attach the new light right over it, where it would be the ideal place for it. I did manage to attach it behind the sewing machine but with limited flexibility.

I am a size Large in the bust area, but the way this is made and my actual size, I had to buy a size medium, then adjust out. And I LOVE IT! Easy to use and very adjustable. Happy customer right here!
