Best All Shoe Storage With Reviews

It was simple to put together, only tool required was a screwdriver. I could only manage to fit 40 pairs of shoes total on the shelves. I only wear a 5.5, so I'm not sure why that's the case. Not that the shoes on each shelf are crammed next to each other w/ no space in between. I could fit 1 additional shoe on some of the shelves, but I couldn’t get a fifth PAIR of shoes on any of the 10 shelves. I even tried alternating pairs with fronts of the shoe forward/ backs of the shoe forward on some of the shelves as well as laying some pairs of shoes on their sides. Maybe if you somehow stacked a shoe’s mate on top of it (instead of setting both shoes of the pair beside one another on the shelf)? Or maybe if you set each pair with one member of the pair facing forward and the other member facing backwards? Or maybe if the majority of your shoes are flip flops which you could possibly situate so that the bottoms of each pair touch each other and set each pair thusly situated, on its side, perpendicular to the shelf? Or maybe if you wear only really narrow shoes and/or shoes that have a lot of compactibility that become more compact when you fit other shoes beside them? Or maybe some combination of these and/or other techniques would do the trick? Idk but it would be of interest to me to see Wayfair produce a demo in which 50 pairs of shoes are stored in this shoe rack. I’m personally no engineer and couldn’t figure out how to make it happen with my shoe collection. You can’t fit shoes w/ any amount of shaft height on any of the shelves other than the top shelf. So I put a few of my booties and low-profile boots on the top shelf (& will have to find an alternate storage solution for the rest of my boots). The bars have a tacky surface to provide some grip. Nice feature since I’ve owned a similar shoe rack with bars that were smooth which worked counter to shoes staying put. It comes with both black plastic casters and black rubbery plastic caps to put on the bottom. The casters are really cheap/flimsy-looking & I couldn't get them to all stay on or for them to roll the shelf around properly on, so I attached the little black caps instead. It doesn't sit super firmly & flat on my floor (but I know my floor isn't perfectly even), and although it's not all that noticeably unstable, I think I'll wedge shims of some sort under the front two caps to try and stabilize it a little more. Overall I’m satisfied with this product, given that it does hold the majority of my shoes and does so without any of them tipping over or sliding off, and I judge it’s the best shoe rack I’ve ever owned. If I could give it a 3.5/5 stars rating, I would.

In my opinion, the building of this unit is a two-person job but when it was completed, we were able to cross an annoying problem off our list. There were imperfections along the way such as a scratch on one of the side boards that cannot be seen. In addition, there was also a fair amount of the coloring they apply, dried to the surface of several pieces. It was easily removed as it has an elastic quality to the colorant. The instructions do not go into detail, just lots of drawings for each phase until completion. The drawings were quite clear as to what should happen next. After completion, we stood it up, slid the unit into place and started filling it. Our floor is now clear of and were very happy about that. We purchased the unit in Drifted Grey and it blends well with the closet. What I like about this unit is the weight and the slender profile. Its the first unit Ive seen that utilizes the vertical wall space instead of being too wide. Overall, this was a great buy and Im glad I found it.

I took all the pieces out of the wrappings and discarded them all. I noticed the rustiness described by another reviewer on the legs. It was not enough for me to complain about. This piece is for the bathroom I share with my 8 year old granddaughter and 14 year old grandson since moving in with my daughter three weeks ago. We have differing needs in the bathroom. Little girl toilet articles live on the side of the sink in a plastic tote bucket. He brings his in. Im used to my own things in their own places. The mom said she didnt care what I did in there. So, the hunt was on...it ended with this small, appropriate piece. Sometimes I want to sit to do some things or just to sit down. Im72. So, my 14 year old grandson was assigned his first building project. I gave him the one page instructions to look over. I gave him the packages of fasteners and the 2 loose ones. He raised one eyebrow I raised mine...he went into the bathroom with his gaming chair. You know the one that slants back, kind of...When I saw him again, the bench was in place under the towel rack. It was just waiting for some of those small, colorful baskets from the dollar store. You can put 3-4 on each shelf. I am so pleased, I could just pop! The kids are thrilled! It isnt flimsy nor kiddy looking. But sleek and inconspicuous. Thanks Wayfair! The commercials are so me! And now, us, cuz my grand sons first building project was a huge success and he couldnt stop smiling! Hahahahaha!

This rock is precisely the width I needed for the space available, and my size 36/US5.5 shoes do fit four pairs per row as advertised, although without much room to spare. The finish is a bit splintery, so before I put it together I lightly sanded every surface with 220 grit sandpaper, then went over it with a damp cloth to get the sanding dust off and catch any lingering rough spots. I used a drill to put the hex screws in and was congratulating myself on the time improvement over doing it manually with the included hex key, until the second to last screw got about 3/4 of the way in and started to split the rail. At first I thought I'd just gone in too fast with the drill, but when I looked more closely I could see the rail had been split during manufacturing and glued back together all along its length, and the screw was just reopening the original split. Hence the deduction of a star—how hard would it have been to replace the rail at the factory instead of gluing it? None of the other rails had been similarly glued that I could see. I just carefully hand-tightened the screw the rest of the way and turned that side to the wall (both faces are conveniently finished the same, so there's no front or back to the rack). If the split gets worse I'll apply wood glue and clamp it back together. A fine-furniture mahogany shoe rack it's not, but it's plenty sturdy for my purposes and far more attractive than the cheap metal ones, and the price on sale was certainly right.

I’ll start off by saying, sometimes online shoppers expect to pay 5 for an item and get something that is built of gold and will last a lifetime. For anyone with common sense, we know that isn’t how things work. So here’s my review This shoe rack is very reasonably priced, I got it on sale for 33 and the standard free 2 day shipping. The product arrived quickly, actually the next business day. The box had some slight damage but that’s to be expected when carriers like FedEx drop kick packages to your doorstep. The contents of the package were intact and undamaged. Instructions were clear and concise. Contrary to another review I read, you do NOT need any tools to assemble this. The assembly for me, took about 45 minutes and was pretty straight forward. As others have noted, the shelves are a thin material but I had no doubt it would withstand my heels. The shoe rack fit perfectly in my apartment walk-in closet. It is lightweight, so I assembled it in my living room and easily carried it to my closet. As you can see it holds plenty of shoes. The one downfall to the shoe rack is that it is not suited for anything with a heel above 4” or anything taller than an ankle boot. However, again, with common sense you can determine that from the photos and measurements that Wayfair provides. Overall, I am super happy with this product for how reasonably priced it was. If you don’t have a space that will fit a 5’ tall shoe rack, you can still buy this and assemble it as two different height shoe racks. I would overall highly recommend this product for any shoe lover.

Love, love, love these shoe racks. I could never have enough shoe racks. I bought 5 and glad that I did. I bought some over the door ones from shopping channel and all the shoes fell off , what the heck. I still have those in boxes until I find out how to secure closer to door. These are great and fast to put together. Now I can put all my shoes on them and find quickly when I change outfits. Easy to move room to room and can also put in closet. Can put my Uggs and Bear Paws on top shelf, so cool to be able to grab and know where they are, before my boots were all over the house. I even put one by front door in foyer for outdoor waterproof shoes, tennis shoes and slippers, now I don't have to hunt under table or look around house for shoes. Im pretty happy with my purchase. I think the shelves are pretty low so I have to put the shoes in laying sideways as they were in the shoe box. If youre looking to store your shoes standing up youll have to either remove a shelf or two or find a different cabinet. For this reason Im also not the greatest fan of the smaller shelves on the right because I can only fit flats or one pair of adult sized shoes. Luckily I have a 5 year old so this is where her shoes are stored. The height of the cabinet is just below counter height so I use one as a sort of entryway shelf and the other cabinet is actually my nightstand. After a year of use the most used cabinet in my entryway has a broken magnet (used to hold the door shut.) Its not even on the door my 5yo uses so I know its not from rough use. All in all though Id say this was a great purchase though, it was also easy enough to screw back in. I just had to fill the hole and use a power screw driver. The shutters allow the shoes to be concealed but at the same time air out and its a timeless look. Im happy with my purchase.

I love this shoe rack i literally looked everywhere for one; Walmart, bed bath and beyond and amazon. I kept buying and none of them were good. Then i found this one online by accident and i decided to give it a go. First thing first the installation were very easy and direct you don't need a tool just everything thats in the box. I put it in my closet and it fits perfect. It holds all my heels, flip flops, flats and sneakers. It has a lot of space especially if you put your flats and flips flops on top of each other. I was very pleased with this purchase and i think anyone who buys it will agree. Even the cost was reasonable. You don't need to put it in your closet it can go in front of the front door for guest as well. They even have these different colors to choose from to go with your theme.

When our family moved into our new home in the middle of November, the previous owners left a large metal shoe rack in my husbands closet that I moved to the foyer for the time being since we are a "no shoes in the house family." That being said it was tacky and ugly as well as the benches they left. I was looking for something that would be sturdy, pretty, not break the bank too much, but also match the decor I liked. This checked EVERY. BOX. I built it myself, ALL the directions and parts were in the box. 0 issues putting this bad boy together. The only issue I had was getting it INTO my house after it was dropped off since my husband wasn't home haha! I took advantage of it being assembled on its side and put a few bottom felt pieces to protect the wood floor. It not only makes it easy to move around if needed but this thing is beautiful. The cubbies aren't huge so boots and above ankle sneakers are a no go for it but it's deep enough that you can add me adult 5 woman shoe in them side by side to some extent.

I love this so much!! I’m happy with this purchase! So it came a day early than estimated. It’s pretty heavy but I was able to get it inside the door by myself by flipping(?) it. (Kinda like rolling but it’s not round so yeah..Don’t know how to call it.Lol!) Packaging was okay, product wasn’t damaged. All good! Assembly was a bit confusing because it only had a 4-step instructions with only pictures of which part goes where and it was a bit confusing for me. So we really took our time to figure it out first. If you’re not used to assembling then do take your time and don’t screw them tightly unless you’re sure. Or have someone who knows do it with you. Make sure the unfinished sides of the panels are facing the back. It’s easy to forget about it on this one because color of the finished and unfinished side is almost the same. The last step about the door installation was very confusing because there’s so many parts. (I think they should make applying the magnets a spearate step. Lol!) I also saw a review about the doors that were not even. I think it’s just the placement of the magnet. You can actually adjust the magnet back and forth if you loosen the screw a bit and just make sure to tighten it back after. It happened to me but my boyfriend knew what to do. I attached pictures of the magnet so you can see the screw. Anyway, the size of it is pretty good. My boyfriend wears a men’s size 8 and I wear a women’s 7.5. It’s really nice and I love the color. I also picked this on purpose because of it’s doors. I want that ventilation so shoes wouldn’t stink.

This bench is exactly what I need for my foyer. I needed a place to dump my purse and work-bag, as well as change shoes. The benefit for me was the storage. It isn't deep and I was contemplating using it for purse storage, but realized there was an even better use for the storage, my sunglasses! I have a large collection and didn't really have an easy to get to while I am on my way out the door location and this suits perfectly! The bench storage is large enough for flats, small purses, hats, scarves and the like. In the image there are about 25 pairs of sunglasses ranging from large to small. It's perfect for me. I still have plenty of room on shelf below and floor to NEATLY place shoes and slippers for when I come home. This was a great purchase. It's sturdy, can fit 2 people comfortably ( I am NOT a small woman), or your kids when tying laces at the last minute. The color is true to photo and suites apartment living. CAVEAT: Read the instructions FULLY and measure out which screws go where PRIOR to build. It's not very clear unless you do that first.

I absolutely love it! It is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have much space in front of my bed but desperately needed more storage and a place to place my comforter and pillows at night. The bench is the perfect size for anyone who doesn't have much room. I love the height, you can't see it when you lay down on your bed. Also, it surprisingly holds more than I thought it would. I have a few towels, blanket, and a pillow folded in half in there...with still left over room! The color is a beautiful neutral, can go with almost anything. Shipping was also super quick. The best part though was the no assembly required, not even screwing in the legs. You pop it right out of the box and that's it. Wonderful item

This is a really nice piece and exactly what I expected and hoped for. The directions were okay but could be better. All the parts were included and all precut holes aligned fine. The only thing missing was precuts for the 5 feet so had to screw in without. Doing this for 5 feet each with 4 holes was a pain but I was able to get it done. My daughter helped and having an extra person to help is something I recommend if possible It took about 2 hours to complete. I suggest laying out all the like pieces together and work in a good size room. You only need a screwdriver and hammer. Pay close attention to the numbers on all the pieces and the pics in the instructions. Dont over tighten. This is composite wood not oak. For me everything lined up fine and all the doors close properly. The one negative is the shelves are a bit short and if you have big feet the doors may not close all the way. I am only a 9.5 and mine just make it . In the end this came out great. Ok

Love the style, size, construction price. My only disappointment is the awful stench of the fabric or filling. Have aired it for five days in the garage used an entire bottle of Fabreeze on it which has helped but still not rid the piece of the lingering odour. Update on my previous review....I have now had this bench 13 months. Noticed this morning that the fabric is coming apart at one seam along one tuft. Wayfair unwilling to do anything as I am 1 month beyond it’s warranty period of one year. It gave me a telephone number for the furniture manufacturer. When I contacted it I was told that as a wholesale company it does not deal with 3rd parties. It suggested that Wayfair could submit a request to it for replacement of the damaged item. I called Wayfair again but again it told me it couldwould not help me as I was 1 month beyond it’s warranty period. I have been a longtime customer of Wayfair having purchased many items from it over the years. I am extremely disappointed in disheartened with it’s refusal to do anything to correct this problem. Lesson here is....don’t buy from Wayfair again.

I bought this shoe rack for my grandchildren's bedrooms and it is sturdy and solid construction. I had the thin separating cubicles in another shoe rack but being short the kids would try to step on them as a ladder to reach something hanging in the closet and broke off partitions making them useless. These cane be stood on and I bought four. I originally used them as individual shoe racks laying flat on the floor under the clothes hanging in closet and each child could put their shoes in the cubicles and would double up sneakers and sandals with plenty of room. Then I got four more and stacked them on top of each other and have them stacked four high in the master closet. For safety I secured the top to the wall with an L bracket to make sure no child climbed them and pushed them over even though they stood firm without the support. I am very satisfied with the product and I chose white because the doors and trim in our home is painted white.

This shoe rack was simple to put together & is fairly sturdy. Our disappointment however is that it definitely doesn't fit as many shoes as we were hoping. Flats & lower profile shoes are able to fit in one cubby as a pair. Unfortunately, we found we have several pairs of tennis shoes that wouldn't fit into 1 cubby together & boots (even ankle booties) don't fit very well. We were able to fit 18 pairs of our shoes on the rack, most being smaller shoes. We ordered this based on the dimensions being exactly what we needed to go on top of existing shelf if put on it's longer side. For us the height measurement seems to be a bit off, it is definitely a bit smaller than we were expecting. All in all it works well enough for us to keep for the time being & does keep our shoes organized & accessible, but just know that if you have bigger shoes they may not fit very well & only smaller/lower profile shoes will end up being able to fit together in 1 slot.

Weve only had this bench for a couple of weeks in our mudroom, but I love it! The wood is a bit ashy colored, which actually blends in really well with our flooring. The storage for shoes is great as our home is a no-shoe area. My husband is quite tall and it gives him a nice, sturdy place to settle upon entering the house and his larger shoes fit just fine. Its the right size for the smallish space. I also appreciate the adjustable feet to ensure it isnt wobbly if on uneven ground. The bench itself was super easy to put together, and were going to buy another soon!

Purchased three of these in blue for our vacation rental house. The entryway has a small niche and this was the perfect size to fit but still not block the double doors. I like that it’s a storage spot but also a useful bench to sit down on to put shoes on/take off (which will be needed for our target clientele that are mostly older). I’m going to mount a sign above it saying “leave your worries and your shoes by the door.” I also purchased one for inside the garage next to the entry door and one for inside the main suite’s closet. Two arrived slightly damaged with cracks, splits and chips in various spots. I was able to compile the “good pieces” to assemble two and called Wayfair for a replacement of the third. My business rep was super friendly as was the customer service rep that handled the replacement. I was so happy that I ordered another one in gray for a different property and I will definitely be ordering more for our future vacation rental houses.

Happy with this, and glad I chose it over others for the extra shoe spots. Each shoe space is a little tight, but I am able to put a pair of Merril shoes (which are bigger, almost like boots) in one if I angle them correctly and put one on top of the other, or push one all the way in and the other in front of it. That's one of the pluses, actually, it is deep enough to mostly put one shoe in front of the other. It's not real wood or hard wood but MDF, as is clear in the description, but it is quite sturdy and I can easily sit on it without concern. My one worry is how it will hold up from any type of moisture from the bottom of shoes since the covering over the MDF isn't the highest quality I've seen (I could easily see this bubbling up or something if it got wet) but we shall see. I intend to place wet or damp shoes on a mat because I wouldn't trust this with those. The hardware used for it was quality and better than some other MDF or cheaper pieces I've put together. Instructions weren't the clearest but overall it was simple enough to assemble that they were still adequate. It's a great size, not too tall or imposing, and fits nicely under own window. It is also long enough that we place multiple bags and the like on top and still have enough room for a seat. So, all in all, really helps make our entry way keep clean and organized.
