These are really light weight and cheap looking. It is hard to justify drilling into the studs for something that looks like it won’t last a year. We had to return these.

I LOVE these shelves. We wanted something sleeker when redecorating and getting rid of our big bulky entertainment center, They look great and seem sturdy. There is no weight limit information included and some of my larger books are pretty heavy so I was concerned and careful but they seem to be holding up well. We just used the anchors that came with them, each shelf takes 10 screws and anchors to attach to the wall so as long as they are installed properly they shouldn't have problems holding up to standard items you would put on a shelf of this size. A couple screws happened to hit studs in a few shelves so there is that extra hold in a few shelves. They do flex down just a bit when I ~gently ~ place my books so I will definitely keep an eye on them and use stronger anchors if we need them. They were easy to install - the hardest thing about installing them this way was getting them all level and even on both sides but installing each shelf was super easy, you do need a drill and a level woud be a good idea, but screws, anchors and little sticker tabs to cover the two screws that hold the shelf onto the bracket . Very pleased over all.
