Wayfair Professional members shared hundreds of stunning images from their portfolios in hopes of impressing four industry-leading judges to become our 2020 Tastemakers. Taking the top prize for most dramatic renovation is Beyond 702 Interiors, a full-service interior design firm specializing in residential remodels, luxury kitchens, and custom new-construction homes. Owner Tiffany Haynes believes great interior design shouldn’t be complicated, and her kitchen renovation wowed our expert craftsman judge, Chip Wade.
For this project, Tiffany set out to help a husband and wife looking to create a safe, calming space in their home. She was given total control over redesigning the kitchen with the help of Wayfair Professional, and the results were brilliant.
“I thought the overall concept of contrast, freshness, and universal appeal was best displayed in the beautiful kitchen transformation,” Wade said. “The wood grain and dark stain were perfectly executed to give a sophisticated feel, but they still retained enough warmth to make the space feel great!

We got to discuss this winning project with Tiffany. Here’s what she had to say:
Can you tell us a little about your company and your professional background?
We offer design services for clients and custom home builders in central Indiana and surrounding areas. I've done a few commercial spaces, but my primary focus is on residential design. We provide a wide variety of services including drafting home plans, selecting building materials, sourcing furnishings, and post-installation styling. When I started out, most of my business came from referrals and word of mouth; although that is still going strong, we are getting more requests through our company website and social media platforms. I'm very excited about the new brick-and-mortar location in Brownsburg, and we've started working with design students through college intern programs. Beyond 702 Interiors is growing and I am so proud I kept chasing this dream.
Can you describe this particular project and how you went about completing it?
This project was a referral from a previous client. The new clients were looking to create a safe space after the wife retired from a high-stress job. Not only did I renovate the kitchen, I also revamped the whole left side of their home. The challenges with the kitchen included an odd kitchen island and very limited storage options. To remedy this, I changed the whole floor plan to maximize storage space and improve the flow. The clients gave me total control over designing the space, and that’s why I was able to make the bold decision of incorporating the striped kitchen island to really make a statement. They love it!
What was the feedback from the client?
The clients absolutely loved the extra storage and the kitchen island. They also love to entertain guests, and the kitchen has become a great space for them to hang out.
How did Wayfair Professional or your Account Manager help with this project?
I’ve worked with Wayfair Professional for the past couple years and love working with my Account Manager, Sarah. I work with both luxury clients and clients on a budget, and I strive to give them all the same service no matter what – Wayfair Professional helps me do that. I can send Sarah a product I like, and she helps me find similar products with the right price point. Wayfair Professional also helps fix any problem that comes up, and Sarah has really become my point person to help source products and handle any issues.
