“Lively. Radiant. Lush.” After making a splash at fashion week, emerald green is the year's must-have color.


Emerald hasn't been a stranger to the spotlight in the past
few years. Remember Angelina Jolie's giant emerald earrings at the 2011 Academy Awards?Even Kate Middleton has been spotted in this vibrant hue. This season's runway was awash in the color from clothes to eye shadow. This versatile green, both natural and elegant, quickly found its way into home decor. Choose a few throw pillows for a quick update or select timeless pieces, such as a tufted or hand-knotted wool rug. While last year's color (Tangerine Tango) may have been a bit of a stretch, we're betting big that you'll be layering emerald everywhere--the kitchen, living room, and even bathrooms.
