Make a Style Splash
Dreaming of a bathroom overhaul? We have your design inspiration covered.
Is a bathroom refresh on your to-do list? Bring it one step closer to “done” by zeroing in on a design plan, incorporating not just the must-haves (plumbing fixtures, sink, a mirror) but also the details you’ll fantasize about until they’re a reality.
Inspired by the sleek, chic German-engineered faucet and shower fixtures from Hansgrohe, our editors dreamed up three design schemes we’d love to make our own. Have a look.
The Inspiration: The PuraVida faucet and bath accessories
The Look: Modern Naturalist
Taking cues from the modern lines of the PuraVida faucet, towel, and tissue holders, we sought out a monochrome mix that bucks tradition yet nods to nature. A floating vanity with visible woodgrain, penny-round floor tile, and organic-feeling accessories complete the scheme.

With a classic gooseneck arc, the Talis faucet speaks to tradition, but its lines are decidedly contemporary. This led us to a look inspired by a Nordic country cottage: rustic yet sleek, cool yet inviting. Geometric tiles, a metal-and-rope mirror, and an industrial-style light fixture are softened by a chunky knit rug and a whitewashed, asymmetric ladder that's perfect for storing plush towels.

Hansgrohe's Metris faucet and Croma shower fixture (a combination rain-shower and handheld sprayer), inspired a spa-like design plan. We paired natural materials, like teak and seagrass, with gleaming elements like a square sink, glass tiles, and a chrome bathroom sconce. Add a stack of fresh bath cotton bath towels and a cushy mat, and you have a complete spa experience at home.
