Before & After: The Brightest Small Bathroom
Just wait til you see the floor tile.
Light and airy with just a hint of pink, there’s a lot of style packed into this tiny bathroom. But before a recent refresh, the space felt crowded and uninspired. A wider toilet sat too close to the bathtub, and the standard square floor tiles, including a darker inlaid pattern, made the space feel heavy and dated. With dull white walls and bare chrome finishes, the room lacked color and personality. Take a look.
Before
After
Keeping with the existing layout, homeowners added a top-flush toilet with a slim silhouette, and they painted the walls a crisp, bright white to match. The new floors are a standout, thoughtfully covered with small navy hexagon tiles, which actually expand the space. When choosing a vanity, homeowners decided on a double-door option with a warm, angular wood grain. And to expand the storage space, they hung a shelf and spacious wall cabinet in easy reach.
Throughout the new room, brushed gold finishes, seen on the mirror, shower head, and vanity hardware, add additional warmth and a fresh, modern feel. And with the color pink featured in the sink-side artwork and shower curtain, the wall shelf is the perfect spot to showcase accessories of a similar shade.
