Before & After: A Colorful Bedroom Refresh
We’ll be dreaming of this one for a while.
Bright and bold with a modern flair, it’s hard to think of this dreamy space as anything else. But before, everything from the walls and window treatments, to the furniture and bedding, was a dull shade of white, which left the room looking tired and lifeless. The large artwork above the headboard overwhelmed the bare wall and the corner desk crowded the bed, making the room feel congested. Take a look.

To instantly clean up the space, the walls were painted a new, brighter shade of white and the desk was swapped out for a smaller, glossy-topped nightstand. Behind the bed, a stretch of jungle-inspired wallpaper doubles as an accent wall and playful backdrop for sleek light fixtures and watercolor art. The bedding remains neutral, but the pink velvet pillows and patterned throw breathe new life into the sleeping space.
With a new placement opposite the bed and the addition of a round mirror that sits tabletop, the desk has been transformed into a stylish vanity. Gold detailing found on the corner accent chair, delicate frames, and lighting introduces a warm, modern feel to the space, while pastel floating shelves mid-wall offer a place for personal touches, like books and candles.
