- This is an excellent value for the money and that's why I bought it. I have several (old) hand crank burr mills which are more time consuming but yield great results. I have had an electric chopper which gave me pieces of plastic along with my coffee grounds. This unit saves time and gives me a decent grind. Yes you can get a more even grind with more expensive units but this does the job and pairs nicely with my Cuisinart CPO 850 coffee maker on the countertop. Great tasting home-roasted coffee!!! One nitpick I have is the container is a little messy when taking the lid off to scoop out the grounds. Yes I would buy this again.

- Great grinder and high quality. It is a little higher priced but after using a less expensive one for many years when went to replace it I wanted a better quality machine.. The less expensive grinders are very loud and the parts are mostly plastic and tends to pick a lot of static electricity making a mess with clinging grounds. This grinder has metal parts and glass containers for holding the beans and ground coffee - no static clinging - no mess!! Not nearly as loud and grinding adjustments are very good and easy to use. - This is a new design from the last burr grinder. This one still does the job at required setting, but is less electronic than the previous version. In my opinion, this is an upgrade and I believe will be more reliable. The water holding tank is still well designed, but the biggest improvement is the removeable coffee grind pullout holder. This part of the grinder is completely redesigned. The container itself is more robust and there is a lot less mess and clean up with where the coffee is deposited. The unit is simplified, more sturdy in parts, and still grinds to your taste.
