When you're hosting a party, it's important to keep those who won't be partaking in alcoholic beverages in mind. Providing them with options that taste great without the liquor will make them happy party guests!
This version of a classic holiday drink—a white Russian—takes a matter of minutes to prepare, and it's vegan for those who have a dietary restriction. By using coconut milk instead of heavy cream and espresso instead of a coffee liqueur, this cocktail is a healthier way to end the calorie-heavy holiday season. If you like, add vodka to this drink and still cater your guests who prefer an alcoholic beverage.
Non-Alcoholic White Russian
Serves 4
12 ice cubes
1 cup espresso, chilled
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 cup coconut milk
Divide ice cubes among 4 drinking glasses. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over the prepared glasses. Serve immediately.
For an alcoholic option, simply add about 2 ounces of vodka to the mix.
