Best Washable Rugs With Reviews

Bought this for my son after searching and reviewing a ton of different area rugs for kids room. I appreciated reading all the previous reviews from other customers. I am so happy with purchase. My son loves it and doesn't want to play on anything else. The rug is beautiful the colors are so vibrant and love the layout of all the places and offices you would see in your neighborhood. Just wished City Hall was an airport with a plane. It's very difficult to explain what City Hall is to a curious three year old. LOL!

We bought two area rugs but this one was larger than the other one that we bought but we absolutely love both of them and we have received so many compliments from people about both of the area rug we bought!! This matches the furniture we just bought and it just makes the room look so much brighter and bigger!! It also makes it just feel more like a home! I feel like I have a home!!

Beautiful rug! It’s very thin as other reviewers have commented but I don’t mind as I have a thick pad underneath. The edges do curl up a little bit and I took off one star because it’s actually 22” wide, not 24” as advertised. It even says 22” on the packaging. Not sure why it’s listed as 8x2. I had to cut my rug pad (and didn’t do it very well as you can see in the photo ). But it really is lovely and feels soft on my bare feet when I’m standing in the kitchen.

I needed a rug for my dining room and a runner for my kitchen. They are joined together so I wanted the rugs to match. I took a picture with the runner and dining room rug together. They don’t really have the exact hue. The kitchen runner is warmer and the dining room rug is a little more cooler. But they’re far enough away you can’t really tell. Plus I like the warmth of the runner with my cabinets so it works! They are on the thinner side but being that it’s under my dining room table and chairs, I like that. The chairs pull smooth and easily on it.

I bought this rug and the Ruby Imagination Squares because I have one big room and needed matching rugs. These rugs are great! I am impressed with them so far. Had read reviews about the line saying they are light and shift around easily. I was pleased to find that they aren't all that light. They do have a rough backing and require a pad if you have hardwood floors. My only disappointment is that the website doesn't tell you what colors are in the rug. On my computer it looks like there is black in the rug, but it is a dark brown. I was looking for black in this rug to tie in with the black seat cushions on my dining room chairs. When we unrolled the rug there are places throughout that don't lay flat. Time (and the weight of furniture) will tell if they flatten down. They aren't really noticeable so the rugs will stay. The binding around the edges is done with traditional surging rather than fabric strips.1/14/16 - It has been several months since I put these rugs down. They are laying now laying flat - it didn't take long for this to happen. They are cleaning up nicely when vacuumed. Pros: great value, seems durableCons: doesn't lay flat out of the wrapper. I am extremely pleased with this rug. It shipped and arrived very quickly and I rolled it out and it was set up instantly. The rug has a great texture on my feet. It's pretty soft for an "outdoor" rug and isn't scratchy at all. The weave is really nice and I love how it looks with my space! It's summer, so we haven't had heavy rain yet, but it has stood up to the sun so far, I'll have to do a check in once rainy season hits.

Absolutely love this rug! It’s very well made, rubber back is nice. We put a rug pad from wayfair under it for extra warmth and padding since it’s in our basement on tile floor. The colors are very true to the website. I’m describing the color as a rusty coral if that makes sense. The outer edging is brown, there’s some hints of blue and green. It compliments my “Vine Leaf” paint color. I bought the matching runner for the other side of the couch also and it stays put with the rubber backing. Very pleased with my purchase and the price was great for the value. We have weights on the corners to flatten in the picture. May reinforce edges with rug tape later. Bull Terrier approved!

I’m in love with this rug! It’s just what I was looking for to use for shooting items on it in photos! It is also white, and I didn’t want off white. The pile is thicker than others I’ve seen and it’s bigger than expected but you can fold it up to a 20x20” square and it’s relatively light. The rubber backing is fairly thin so it doesn’t add to any weight and it’s textured making it more slip proof. No need for a mat! Also, incredible feel, just like the real thing! My dog and cats went straight for it!! And extremely soft!! Adds a lot to a room. Two for one for me!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is the perfect addition to your classroom if you are a teacher, a playroom or even your child’s bedroom. It’s the perfect size of not too big and not too small (35”x51”) the colors are very bright and the states are clearly labeled making it easy to read. I also love that the alphabet borders the rug with both capital and lowercase letters. My preschooler loves this rug and so does my almost 2 year old. We have big plans for various games using this in our playroom. I received this rug complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but I would definitely recommend this to anyone and will probably end up buying this for other friends to have for their kids. Both a functional and educational item and you just can’t go wrong with that.

These carpets are GORGEOUS!!!!!! I got two runners this and a 7 by 10 and I could not be happier !!!!! They seem like much more expensive carpets then they are. Beautiful quality, the colour is amazing. I was scared it would be too purple (my colours are warm colours I was hoping it would be more of a “wine” tone) and it is ! Well it can really blend to whatever close colour you have , light pinks, purples , burgundies. It’s just a great carpet !!!!! And came WAY faster then expected !! Highly recommended as I was so scared with the colour and bluntness and am happiest I have ever bin with a carpet purchase !!!

This is a cheerfully colored rug that holds up well under the harsh, dirty conditions of a backdoor mudroom. I have washed this rug countless times, expecting to have to replace it fairly quickly like others I’ve had, but nope. Good thing I like it, because it comes out looking new every single time. The edges haven’t frayed, the rug itself hasn’t snagged, the rubber backing hasn’t failed in any way, and the colors haven’t faded from the sun. A great utility rug that looks a little less ‘utility’ than others.

This rug is very nice. It is more grey/khaki than sage but we still like it. The color is quite different than what I saw on my screen and I looked at it in my phone, iPad and computer. Maybe they used different lighting to photograph it? It is fairly thick and nice. It is not as nice as rugs from other popular stores for home furnishings that I have bought from before, but the price was lower, so I expected a quality difference. I'm using it in a large bathroom so I didn't want to spend too much. I have had it a few days and it isn't laying completely flat (still curling at the edges) but I think it will get there. I think the curling is something that less expensive rugs tend to do after being rolled up tightly since the backing isn't as flexible. I am using it with a good quality thick rug pad for extra softness underfoot. Overall I would recommend this rug as attractive and soft with a Persian look (not super detailed). Be aware that the color may be less green than your screen and it may not relax and lay flat right away.

Just as I hoped, this rug fits in with our living room perfectly! We have dusty olive walls, bamboo floors, and a slate (dark grey) sectional, so this rug pulls all those colors together nicely. I also ordered the matching runner and love that. A tip for flattening it- I used a damp towel, spray bottle with water, and an iron to steam it. The rug went from very bumpy to near-perfectly flat after about 45 minutes of working it. The picture I posted is from right after I ironed it.

Looking for runners so I checked out WayFair and found the Caplinger brown area rugs. I’m a brown, beige person so these were perfect. Soft material, not to high and they have a nonslip backing. I paid a little more but I got more! So it’s a win, win! Thank you WayFair, you never fail to amaze me!!

I LOVE this rug! I bought two because of the length I need, along with the necessary width to go under a bar-height table and two stools. I have not laid them, but just looking at the pattern and the colors sold me on the site and now in person. They feel like good quality, but I would not put them in the washer. They are too gorgeous to take the chance. The colors are vibrant without looking "cheap". I wish Wayfair would list the actual colors. This rug has a gold/beige background and the other colors are burnt orange, turquoise/blue, avocado green, brown, and a brick red that can pass as dark orange. The picture of the man sitting on the floor in front of white furniture I think shows the true colors and vibrancy. I was looking for something with a '70s hippie vibe and this paisley is just the thing.

I have this rug in the sitting area in my kitchen. I also have two of the long runners, one in my kitchen work area, the other in the long hallway. These rugs are perfect, the rubber backs keep them from sliding all over the place when my very active Boxer. They look wonderful on my hardwood floors. They also save me lots of clean up with wet paws running in and out. They are holding up nicely, lay good and flat, don't move around, and don't show dirt.

I just received this yesterday. It laid down flat right away. It look like the picture. I was concerned about the (yellow?) color because I wanted beige. It is more of a yellowish beige and goes well with beige walls in the dining room. I think it is very nice for the price point. Not super thick but I didn't want too think to go under dining chairs.
