We received this shed pretty quickly. We got it for our chickens to have a safe place at night and a warmer area in the winter. It is a great size. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. I looked at a ton of different sheds and spent a lot of time reading reviews before deciding on this one, and I’m glad I did. Assembly was very straightforward. My boyfriend put it together by himself in about three hours while I was at work and didn’t run into any issues. A couple of nice bonuses are that it comes with a floor and a lock, which saved me from having to buy those separately. I’ll probably add some hooks to the walls to make organizing tools a little easier, but overall it has plenty of room for what I need. The only downside I’ve noticed is that there isn’t a lot of airflow, so it can get pretty hot inside on warm days. That should be an easy fix with some added ventilation, though. This shed was super easy to assemble. I am a 5' 3" 67 year old female and it took me an hour and 45 minutes to complete. Approximately 15 minutes of that was sorting and verifying parts. The instructions suggested two people to assemble floor, and that probably would have helped, but I was able to do it myself. My foundation was already in place. Getting the sides to slide into the slots properly required a rubber mallet. Finished product holds my self-propelled snow blower and my Snow Joe battery operated snow blower with extra room.. Terry. This is a a great storage shed if you have bulky stuff or things like bicycles that you would need to store. It does not weigh 5 tons, but it also feels sturdy enough for outdoor storage. What I would have improved for this unit is, you have to drill some of the holes yourself (specially those for the small screws). In essence, they don't even have a "mini-hole mark" or something that guides your drilling. You basically have to eye-ball it. Also, the holes on some of the brackets are super small and you almost have to force the screws into them. This is a great shed! As a 5’2 woman with a 5’8 hubs, it does feel a little short height wise but perfect for us. We did decide to run 1x4’s around the middle to give the walls some extra support.
