The Deirdre Rectangle Aquarium or Terrarium Tank Stand is the perfect way to display your fresh or saltwater Aquarium or Terrarium. The woodgrain finish on the laminated particleboard and MDF contrasts the brushed nickel door handles for a modern look. The large doors with 2 adjustable and 2 fixed shelves keep all your fish food, nets, water treatments, or cleaning supplies for your plant, aquatic, reptilian, or amphibian friends hidden from view. The rectangular shape allows the Aquarium or Terrarium Tank Stand to fit snugly up against a wall, creating a 3-sided view of the Aquarium or Terrarium. Aquarium or Terrarium is not included. The Aquarium or Terrarium Tank Stand ships flat to your door and requires assembly upon opening. Two adults are recommended to assemble. The Stand is built to hold up to 37-gallon Aquarium or Terrariums or up to 450 lbs. Once assembled, the Stand measures to be 30.32” H x 33.07” W x 14.69” D.

Looks nice after the 4 hours it took me to put it together; I am a very avid, seasoned do-it-yourselfer (I like things to come out as perfect as possible...most people call me "picky"). You need to be aware that the instructions are not very good, as it is hard to tell exactly how the parts fit up to each other. I would give the fit of the parts an 8 out of 10, there are some pieces that didn't fit quite right, one of the hinges had the holes drilled too far in, so I just ran the screws in where they needed to be. The bottom is about 1/8" - 3/16" out of square, but this didn't really create much of a problem; it shows up in the front at the bottom trim and on the back where it sticks out past the back of one side. The center piece holes for the screws coming in from the bottom were a little large, so I ended up using deck screws that are 1/4" longer. The doors had some issues with the finish, mainly at the miters. The top was in good shape with only one little flea bite to touch up. After completing the assembly I used a Tombo ABT N15 touch up pen to fix all of the flaws in the finish and now the finish looks perfect everywhere. Before setting my aquarium on it I gave it a good polishing with furniture polish and it looks fantastic.
My Fluval 206 canister filter fits great on one side and I installed both shelves on the other side. All in all I am very happy with this stand. If you take your time and touch up the finish as necessary you will have a very nice looking, functional stand.. Alan. Spanish Springs, NV. 2020-03-28 22:40:12
