I originally purchased the smaller bench for my walk-in shower. I liked it so much I ordered the 36 inch version for my front portico to for sitting for shoe and boot removal. Nice lower shelf to hold shoes. The bench is well-designed for simple assembly - only four parts which require only average dexterity and no extra tools (a simple Allen wrench is included.) The bench is handsome and endures adverse water conditions. Good value.
