Best Patio Dining Chairs With Reviews

I plan to buy another. Light - and can be decorated with different cushions but do not require a cushion at all. Can be on a patio without rusting - I can push up out of it as it has arms - easy to move when I vacuum the carpet beneath - is not a problem when I need to move it inside (small and light and easily cleaned of any "cob webs - no other insects bother this sort of material) when hurricane or storm warnings say bring your apartment patio furniture inside. And - stacks so does not take up more space. Apartment living and possible changes in future make easily moved furniture desirable. I found it very strange how very comfortable it is! Now up to four of these - very great! One by the door as I come in to change into my house shoes, one out on the patio, one by my bed (easy to move and clean beneath) and one is my desk - computer chair - as it does not look like "office at home world" - which it is not. I have a small space studio home.

I am really happy with these chairs. They look great and are good quality. Definitely worth the price. I love that they stack and are easy to put away out of the elements. I have not had them long so I don't know how they will wear over time. They are lighter in weight so that does make me a bit nervous for the safety of kids using them. Overall I'm very happy.

Arrived well packed. I originally ordered 8 chairs. Two arrived slightly imperfect - one with a staple sticking out. Could not remove it because it would mess up the weave. Another had an odd weave at the corner of the seat. I emailed Wayfair photos, and within a day Wayfair had already shipped out replacement chairs, which arrived in perfect condition. I appreciate the excellent customer service response. Nice looking chairs. Lightweight so easy to stack and store away. Will see how they hold up this coming summer in the hot sun. Good price for what seems like good quality.

I’m glad I selected this chair to put in my office. Not much space between my desk and credenza where my computer is. I purposely selected a fold up chair that would blend in with my mahogany colored office furniture. I am also very pleased with my new chair and how it folds up nicely in that area where I sometimes need to pass through. I love the color and it’s comfortable too. A good investment that I’m pretty sure will last a long time. PS, The delivery time was swift and I was glad to see that no assembly was required.

I very rarely stop to write reviews. I'm raving about these chairs (purchased as part of the Nautical 5-piece dining set). We'd initially gone in looking for adirondack style chairs, and while looking through the catalog, decided to take a seat on the floor model of these chairs. Within, no joke, probably 5 minutes, we knew we'd found what we were looking for. Great for a group of four, small casual dining for breakfast, lunch, dinner - whatever. A few features that we discovered are invaluable: 1) Backrest has a cut-out for carrying, if you need to (very handy) 2) Chairs are three-way adjustable; sit up to eat, and then lean back for conversation. These ended up being quite a bit more versatile than adirondacks, which are still on our wish list, but we can hold off for a bit. 3) Extremely durable, and heavy. Which is great. We get high winds whipping around periodically. These are not going anywhere. 4) Foldable, yes. I wouldn't want to move them frequently, but at least being able to fold and lean up against the table - takes less space, and can fit under a canopy better to keep them dry and protected. Enjoy! I had heard good things about Polywood and seen some of their products in wine country and some outdoor bars. I am thrilled with the investment.

Polywood is very sturdy and functional. I find the Vintage Finish to be more attractive than the regular finish, but both are nice. Just be sure to consider both styles. The Vineyard chairs provide compact, upright seating on our deck and are great for dining outside (they don't take up a lot of room and are easy to get in and out of for elderly or disabled people vs. an Adirondack style). I love that the color is blended throughout the material and if there is ever any dings that it won't be as noticeable. Ordering directly from Polywood. com was a little pricier than from their distributors; however, they ship the items mostly assembled, which was awesome -- I only needed to connect the armrest on the chair. I also purchased additional chairs and a table in the Rustic Farmhouse design from Litehouse and it's lovely (bigger than some of the other models for more room while eating). The darker color is really rich and elegant; however, it does get a bit warm in the sun. Large place settings or a table cloth might be needed on sunny days unless a large table umbrella is used. Just pop the plastic cap UP in the hole to remove it and insert the umbrella (some customers complained about it being hard to get out but they were trying to push it down). These products are pricy but will last much longer than other materials and look good along the way, so I'm very pleased with my purchase. I do recommend sitting in assembled ones at a local distributor if you live near one to get an idea of the size and style in person since they are so expensive.

This patio dining chairs come with instructions to keep them out of the rain because they are metal. Hmmm. Not being stackable, it's not possible for me to store the chairs indoors when they're not in use. But, rain beads up on the chairs quite nicely. They have a substantial coating and the green color is lovely. Don't try to assemble the chairs by yourself. You need to have two people to put these together! And it will take some time. There's a point in the assembly where you might think the parts won't fit together. You have to lean into the arm to get it screwed to the seat. But these are great chairs and I hope they last many years. I haven't put all six of mine together yet, but I did run into a part that will need to be replaced because it is defective.

+ Size and color is exactly as described. + Also love the fact that these chairs can be stacked. + Had a few storms lately, and they hold up great to the elements, still look like new. + They look very modern and sleek, it goes beautiful with my wooden/metal table and bench. Very hard to find similar designed chairs at this price point! - No 5 stars because unfortunately they're not that comfortable. In the Q&A someone asked if the slats of the chairs are smooth and the answer of Wayfair was "yes". However, this is NOT the case. It's ribbed. Ladies sitting on the chair with a short dress/skirt, will leave the chair with a ribbed pattern on their legs. You can not sit for a long time in the chair without a pillow. - Hard to find matching pillows for this size/shape chair for both bottom and back. Most chairs are wider/deeper and have a taller back. So far I've already found a pillow for the bottom, which makes it already a ton more comfortable, but still looking for the back. When leaning back to the chair, it feels quite hard. I went for cream colored pillows, which makes for a nice contrast with the chairs, but still, it's a shame because the chairs look way more beautiful on their own, without pillows. + On the other hand, for this amount of money and the great quality of the chair, I can't really complain.

I purchased these chairs to replace existing chairs with fabric inserts because the fabric began splitting on some of the chairs. The new chairs are comfortable because they have high backs and deep seats. They are lightweight so very easy to move around on my patio, since I have a two level patio. They closely match the conversation group of patio furniture that I purchased from wayfair last year. They are similar in style, design, weave and color. I am very satisfied with the chairs and believe they are a good value for the price. I hope they hold up as well as the patio furniture previously purchased. I recommend these chairs to anyone thinking of purchasing them.

I have loved these butterfly chairs since I first saw them years ago. I finally splurged and bought one, however it came with a broken antennae (broken weld). Luckily the whole butterfly is made of separate parts. I was able to order the part through Wayfair, at no charge, and it will ship shortly. Guess what, I can no longer get the broken part due to unavailability of part, chair, anything. Now Im stuck with a broken, unusable chair..... This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. After part comes, I will give it 5 stars. I would now give it 0 stars!!!!!

Super cute and gives a great pop of color to our new deck setup - can’t wait to style with a fun rug. Easy to put together (says two adults but I did it by myself). Only thing I’m a little like hmmmm is when the package arrived it said avoid direct sunlight and I’m like uhm these are marketed for the outdoors … which has sun. So I am curious to see how they hold up in the long run

I ordered these chairs to go with an outside table that I had made out of pallets. I was very pleased when they arrived and seen that they were not a bright red but a deeper rich red. Really, I think the color is closer to a burgundy. I was able to assemble the first chair by myself, but it did take longer than I expected. Once my husband got home from work, he assisted me with assembling the second chair and it didn't take long at all. The directions are very easy to follow and everything you need for assembly was in the package. They even included extra screws, washers and nuts which I appreciated when I lost a washer while assembling the first chair! The chairs are very durable and comfortable. I anticipate them holding up very well for a long time! I know I will end up ordering another pair of these chairs for my table.

These chairs are so nice! They are wide and comfortable. I bought the Sunbrella 4" chair pads to go on top of them and it works out great. My only complaint is the assembly . . . there has to be a better way. Yes, it should be a 2 person job, but when you don't have 2 people, it can be done with one person - although it is super hard (I hope you know how to work a thigh master hard). It took me about 45 mins to put just one chair together, with 6 chairs, ya, you do the math. I love the chair, hate the assembly, that is why not all are complete at my house yet. Would I recommend the chair, yes, if you are buying 2. If you are buying 6 like I did for a dining table out back - you better have help (i.e. a pizza party and beer) for the assembly.

I ordered 4 chairs. They came packaged 2 in a carton, weighing about 37 lbs. They were very well protected inside, with styrofoam, cardboard and bubble wrap. The assembly was straight forward, with a tubular wrench - it could take much longer with the little wrench provided. There were 2 minor scratches, nothing that couldn't be touched up with a little bit of black paint. The finish is smooth, no sharp burrs, and the paint is matte black. We'll see how they look after some dust settles in the grooves. The chairs are wide enough for a large adult, and very comfortable without any pillows. The chair legs have 2 height adjustment screws at the front, and all 4 legs have protective plastic caps - a good feature for my tiled balcony. There is some lateral movement even when tightened, but for the price, they are great: elegant looking, light enough to pick-up, but not as light as to be blown by a strong wind, especially because of the perforations. Now I have to search for a matching table!

The chairs are a very nice color, shade and appear well-made. Also quite sturdy as I am bigbeefymuscular person with arthritis and I needed something to support my weight. Which is also one of the reasons why I got these chairs with arms… to make it easier to get out of them Since I live in Southern California they will be used year round and kept outside and most likely not covered much or at all. So it appears that they will need furniture (teak) oil - at least a couple times a year -or something similar or a sealant… Goes well with the table that is part of the set They need to be assembled which is not easy but not that hard either. they give you the basic tools to do this but it was helpful to have a drill with the appropriate bits instead

We ordered the white distressed chair but it was back ordered and since we wanted them before they were able to get them in, we changed our order to the steel colored chair and it actually matches the metal top farm table we have outdoors perfectly. We receive lots of compliments. The chair is comfortable, well made and priced reasonably. We received the replacement order within a few days much to our surprise was a delight to work with. I will be recommending them to all our friends. Thank you for such wonderful service and great value.

Received these brown chairs very quickly. Boxed and wrapped very well in bubble wrap. Unfortunately, one of the chairs had about 1/2 inch taken out of the weave in the seat which would have unraveled over time. I immediately contacted Wayfair via email and received a response within an hour! They handled getting me a replacement which I received within a few days. Great customer service. I did notice a slight imperfection in the arm of the replacement but just used a dark marking pen to cover it since it wasn't so noticeable that it required me sending it back or getting yet another replacement (which is why I gave it a 4 rating instead of a 5). Aside from these, the chairs are beautiful, comfortable (no cushions needed), the colors in the brown make it very rich looking and the price was very reasonable. They look great in my front patio.

These chairs are great quality, and very sturdy. I love them. They also came very well wrapped in tape and foam as to not arrive damaged. My only disappointment, and reason for 4 stars, is that the color of the aluminum is a very green toned mustard color, like baby poo green, unlike any other bamboo I own. I wanted to match them with a natural teak bistro table, and they just don’t match well. The greenish tone just clashes something horrible.Looking at other peoples reviews and pictures, that doesn’t seem to bother many. It’s driving me crazy. I’ll probably end up trying to paint either them or the table. I’m keeping them because I really like the quality, but sad that for the money I spent, I still have a craft project ahead of me.

I really like the way these look and they are super comfy. I knocked off a star for two reasons: 1.) They are a PAIN to put together. My dad, who is handy and was helping out at the house, was struggling to complete the first step and I had to help him. These would be VERY hard to put together with just one set of hands and eyes. I would say you need at least two people, at least for the first step. My mom stepped in for the second one, and it ended up taking the three of us to be able to line up the second bolt and sleeve. Each one took at least 30 minutes to put together. 2.) The width measurement on the product description is wrong. They are closer to 25" wide instead of the 24" it lists. This makes a difference when you are putting them in a small place (one side of my very small porch). I thought I was going to have an extra couple inches so they weren't right on top of each other.

Relatively easy put together, you just have to pay attention to the direction of the seat part, the instructions don’t tell you where the holes have to be so you just have to make sure you line them up BEFORE you put it together. I recommend using tools if you have them already because there were some gaps that were hard to push together with just the one tool it came with. Otherwise very comfortable and I’m excited to use them!
