This porch swing is absolutely beautiful. I chose the brown color which is very rich. The swing is solid and qualitative. I looked at several different swings and finally settled on this one which, I am glad I purchased. The cushion has a decent thickness and is comfortable to sit on. The canopy knobs are stable on either side, and as a result the canopy stays fixed. We love it! The hard top works perfectly to help shade the patio while adding some privacy. It is very sturdy and should last for years. It is comfortable and relaxing. It took my husband and I about 2 hours to put together. It would definitely be easier with two people. A rubber mallet really helped with the solar panels. Tap them in as you go to make it easier to get the last piece on. We are really satisfied with our purchase. I’m glad we got this one over a cheaper one. I put this swing on my front porch. It wasnt to bad to put together as long as you follow the directions. The top canopy part wripped VERY easily. The swing is very light. It is alright. I bought 2. Both had issues. The hardware was insufficient for construction and it required a trip to the hardware store (the eyebolts were too short - the one with the tag is what I purchased to replace the shorter eyebolt). I also need to redrill the holes for the folding armrest in the middle. Right now the slats don't line up well. It also requires longer bolts, washers and nuts with teflon locks. Additionally, the cuts did not line up well (especially on the armrest) and as a result, the wood is already under considerable stress and subject to splitting on the armrest. In addition, I had to trim one of the horizontal slats because it stuck out the side where the arm rest belongs. Also, the product description says 792 lb capacity, but the actual product says 200 KG or (441 lbs). Not really what we were expecting. But now you know.. Anonymous. . 2022-04-27 15:26:14
