We recently built a staircase to our attic with a small landing to have easy access to storage. We never intended it to become an afternoon relaxing spot until I saw this bar set. It was reasonably simple to put together by myself but would have been faster and a little easier with two people. The set fits perfectly in the small 5x8 ft landing and is comfortable. It's not as sturdy as I would like and have noticed the plastic has quite a bit of give. There is one joint where the backing of the chair is connected to the seat only by a tongue and groove styled joint. After sitting in the chair leaning back, it does slid up, although so far, it has not popped out. I'm 5ft 7 and weigh 140 pounds, not sure how it will hold up over time with my 6ft 4, 200lb husband sitting in it. It may be possible to put a screw in those spots if necessary.. Lisa. Irvine, CA. I had been looking for a small outdoor set and came across these chairs (table sold separately). They seemed like they’d be perfect for the space I had in mind. I wasn’t expecting much, since I didn’t need anything elaborate, but I was genuinely surprised by the quality and weight of this set. The chairs are made from HDPE, which is known for being durable, long‑lasting, and able to withstand outdoor weather. Since the spot I’m using is under my deck and gets wet when it rains, this material is ideal. The seat width is substantial, and the chairs are quite comfortable. I’m very satisfied with them.
