This charming freestanding birdhouse is sure to draw your feathered friends – as well as compliments from guests and family members. The house is made from bronze and has a red painted finish that’s been purposefully distressed for a weathered look. The pagoda-style roof is unfinished metal with an aged patina that adds to the vintage appearance. We love the bronze-colored detail over the door, the perch, and the elongated decorative finial on the top that adds height and visual interest. This birdhouse is weather- and UV/fade-resistant so holds up well in the elements.

A San Diego landmark, the'' Del'' has welcomed presidents, royalty, and Hollywood celebrities for over 100 years. Home Bazaar's dramatic Victorian design with its signature red roof and peek-a-boo dormers is topped off with a cupola proudly flying an American flag. This house comes equipped with a mounting base with a sleeve for setting on top of a standard 4 x 4 base. In order to attract purple martins, the recommended location of this house should be a combination of open fields and water. The house should be 12 to 14 feet high.
