Just got a chance to install this product after our move. Unfortunately the top of the box was dented. This wasn't something done during shipping, as the product was cushioned by a couple of boxes. It looks like someone dropped it on a hard edge and decided to ship it that way anyway, which is kind of bad since the dent is obvious. Also the hooks that hold the sign don't fit the holes. We had to MacGyver it. Too bad because the rest of it is cute. Its a decent mailbox 1 of the 3 came with a faulty magnet and the door doesn't stay closed shut / randomly pops open. I didn't install them right away so it is beyond wayfair's 30 day return policy so unfortunately stoke with it. Id give it 5 starts if I wasn't bitter about being stuck with one.. Taylor. Life is meant to be lived in COLOR! I Love this mailbox and all who see it comment and love it. I get so bored with black, brown,white and tan! Bring some color and conversation to the mix. The mailbox is solid steel and well coated with shinny paint so it should last a long time. Meh. Finishing details aren’t great. Screw holes don’t line up between the post and mailbox (we had to get out a drill and expand the hole), decorative bottom needs a cover ring (you can see a gap and raw silver screws) and the topper just sits on (so any kid could come steal it) and it doesn’t cover the raw silver edge of the post at the top..
