I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. Love it! It is heavy, as it says it is, and doesn't require filling with sand or water which is nice. The wheels on the one side make it easier to move when on a smooth surface (otherwise I just pick it up entirely). This stand is very heavy and is able to withhold the wind which is awesome! The only thing is you need to have someone strong hands tighten the bolt because it becomes loose with the wind blowing it around. I have had to re-tighten it 4 times.
