This umbrella is amazing and huge!! I have a medium sized deck and it covers it edge to edge, perfect fit!! Love that I can attach it directly to my deck, so don’t need the base.

This is a beautiful umbrella - great size for our sectional, very well made and raises with ease. We decided to drill the umbrella into a platform, as I do not think that the umbrella can hold up to wind when slanted to too much of an angle. Definitely do not fill the base with only water, as only a slight breeze knocked the umbrella over and I am glad we were not sitting under it at the time. Perhaps with sand this would have not been a problem though, which is our fault and not the company's. We had a very difficult time with the shipping: the tracking information was not updated and the delivery date changed several times. I will update this review after we stabilize the base better.

A little intimidating at first. But the product is very high quality. It takes two strong individuals to initially position it. However, once the umbrella is locked into its post, it is very secure. The only complaint is the size of its base. It is huge and takes a great deal of patio space. As a counterweight, it holds up to 250 lbs of sand/water. The folding mechanism works well and the canvas is heavy and well secured to its frame. Despite its size, it provides several positioning options. Worth the price, very functional and tasteful looking.
