Although I did think that this was going to be made of an oxford style cloth almost like canvas. The tent did have a couple of holes in the bottom mesh on one of the doors, but other than that, the tent was waterproof (it rained), roomy, and easy to set up. I am very impressed with this tent for the price it is. I stayed overnight in this tent for a couple days in the rain and sun. It kept me very warm with the wood stove which is made for this tent. I love how it comes with the very organized professional tool pack - very impressive. I thought maybe the material would melt or warp when the chimney of the wood stove kept touching on the tent but it held up without any evidence of high heat. I am a 5'5" female and I set it up alone. It was very easy. I would have set this up sooner if I knew it would be so easy! I will be purchasing another! I have not tried it during winter but I plan to, even tho it says it is not made for winter - which I found out after I read the instructions inside the packet. I recommend having a platform or some level flooring under the tent floor and additional level flooring inside of it, to keep the floor from being cold as the ceiling is very low inside aside from the middle. It fits a queen mattress inside but takes up almost half the space. A full or twin would be best if you plan to stay inside and want more of a studio apartment size rather than a closet.. Camille. Super easy to set up, just pops open. A little harder to fold back up but look carefully at the pictured directions and it works. The UPF fabric really works. However it’s advertised as being for 2 people and this can be true if you are lying next to each other on towels very straight and rather snug, no chairs. Two adults are crowded at best. We like to use those backpack beach chairs and only one fits in this tent, so it’s not really for 2 people, unless one of them is a small child, or a couple of kids. Also the metal stakes are a joke, they’ll get lost in the sand easily, and the stake loops also tore on first use but the sand pockets work well for weighting the tent down and keeping it in place. Other than the loops, it seems well made and should last at least a few summers. Super lightweight and easy to carry. Update - 3 years later it's still in great condition. First a note on materials: The fabric IS NOT CANVAS but Oxford fabric. This is not meant as a complaint. The two are very comparable, but if you are set on canvas you should be aware of the substitution. Other than that I am very favorably impressed Setup was straightforward and easy for one person. It holds its shape without sagging after several days. Ventilation with the internal vents open is more than adequate. It has stood up to two days of stormy weather admirably; there have been no issues with it standing up to the wind. As the later pictures show it is dry inside. The last photo shows water beaded up on the outside of the tent. The interior is roomy, and I am able to walk around comfortably. There's sufficient space to sleep several people and their gear or to use it in a less common way. It is currently doing service as a blacksmithy. There is still enough ventilation. There is enough room that the forge is in no danger of melting or burning anything. The fact that the floor can be unzipped means I can stay dry and not have to worry about dropping hot metal on fabric. The price is very reasonable for what I received, and Wayfair's customer service has been exemplary. The only complaint I have is that the raincap for the door does not have a big enough hole to fit over the door support.
