Best Switches, Dimmers & Outlets With Reviews

I haven’t installed yet but did open the box. I’m remodeling my island that has a step up counter for seating. I’m leveling it and installing a wood slab counter top. Presently there are plugs in the step up back and they will have to be removed. I’m replacing with there that flip up for use and Down to show with a lovely brass circle. I showed my contractor and he was quite impressed

It lends a clean feel to the space without looking out of place. The switch was pretty easy to install and looks great and functions well. It's so easy just to walk by and push it up or down depending on if you want the lights on or off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have installed several Wave switches in my home. They are particularly very useful in areas like a washer / dryer area where you typically have your hands full of clothing and might be unable to turn on the light switch. The wave switch allows you to just swipe in front of the switch (with your hands full of clothing) and the light turns on. There is a sensitivity adjustment setting that allows you to increase / decrease the switch's sensitivity to movement. This adjusts how close to the wave switch the hand movement must occur to engage the switch (either on or off). I have found that the wave switch works better in single gang installations. In 2 or more gang setups you have to contend with the wave switch being enabled when you are only wishing to enable a different switch located in the multiple gang box. I find it useful for closets which have overhead lighting controlled by a switch. This product is not a part of the Netatmo Collection.

When opened it provides 3 outlets instead of the usual two, and in different orientations. And there any many colors of cover plates available. My only caution is to heed the requirements of the box size — it needs a lot of space.

When we upgraded most our light switches and receptacles I decided to try one of these for the laundry room. It has been one of my favorite upgrades. It’s just nice to have and live with and I have not had a problem with it. It was installed about 2 years ago. Come to think of it, I haven’t had any problems with any of our Adorn switches I will say that occasionally I have to wave an elbow or, make an exaggerated move for it to turn on but I think that could be as much to do with how our laundry room is oriented than any deficiencies in the switch. As far as turning off it has always worked perfectly and I’ve never had it turn on by itself as was mentioned in another review. I will be adding more so I just wanted to take a minute and give it my recommendation. I almost took one star off for price but for something that has worked, in a sea of junk products these days, I can’t really take off any stars.

I presently have mostly sofTap Adorne switches (soft touch), several push switches due to old wiring as well as multiple wi-fi sofTap switches. I do have 2 4-way switches which are unfortunately paddle switches. I have asked repeated for this to be updated to either a 4-way push switch or sofTap switch which would then be matching all of the other switches that I have. I have called to Legrand but so far no one knows if and when this will be remedied. Maybe this review will help speed this along. The paddle switch is effective and works but it does not fit in with the rest of the decor. It is time for Legrand to correct this cosmetic issue!

Also the night light feature is great as a guide during dark hours. We recently purchased a lake house and just had to get more for it. I would highly recommend these switches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself is fantastic, but it helps if you knew how you intend to use it. Although the outlets are offset, there isn't always clearance if your plugs are of a strange style/configuration. Currently, I'm only able to plug in one appliance at a time. I would've done better if I used the long version of this outlet. Still, a great product that I will continue to install in other places in the house.

I had my family member ( electrician) install this light into my sons room, I was super excited to get this because I was actually going to purchase one. My son has nightmares and doesn't like the light out untill he falls a sleep. This light dimmer allows me to put the light on low so the brightness doesn't keep him up. He hasn't had any trouble sleeping since. The light switch has a nice slide up and down. You can adjust it to however brightness you want without having to fight in between a dimness. This dimmer switch was easy to install and I am going to tell my friends and family that have kids having trouble sleeping that this is the way to help out. I like how there is a lot of different dim options, not just off bright or in between. This dimmer switch can be used where ever is needed.

Other smart dimmers I found all wire into the switch. Since the switch goes to a plug, that means I'd be dimming both outlets. The remote switch allows me to wire the outlets normally so the other one can be non-dimming, and as a bonus, I got to add another switch on the opposite side of the room. My main gripe is that the switch isn't the most intuitive layout (particularly the dimming buttons), making it a little hard to use without looking. Hopefully they'll come out with something better in the future.

From where we sit in the family room we can see the dining room chandelier and it can be distracting because its fairly bright. I had wanted to install a dimmer switch for a while but wanted a really nice looking one and this sofTap Dimmer Switch from adorne is perfect! It was easy to install after watching a youtube video and I got it done in about 10 minutes. Now we can easily dim the light and my wall looks great with the new switch.

We love the Adorne touch products -- touching the switch feels like an elegant way to (de)activate the lights and they look awesome. We used a combination of touch dimmers and switches in our previous home and are now installing them in our new home. The indicator lights come in handy at night -- they are just bright enough to tell where they are. We use the dimmers in bedrooms and the living room. We love that our brightness setting is saved for the next activation and it's just 2 taps to have instant full brightness. The flat switch and plate are easy to keep clean, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this in three different locations in my house, just because I wasn't sure where I wanted to put it, or where it would make the most sense. Eventually, I decided that I needed to turn a one-gang receptacle location into a two-gang so that I would not lose any 120 volt receptacles. I think it was the right choice, and it looks the best. I have it in my kitchen now, above the section of countertop on the side of the kitchen that collects everyone's phones, tablets and laptop. It was the "charge center" of the kitchen before; with this 4-port USB charger, it now works much more efficiently and looks a LOT better. It fit the back box properly, the wall plate fit around it properly, and it came with wires pre-installed so I was able to wire it direct to the GFCI outlet next to it (see the pics). Other than the work it took me to change the one-gang box to a two-gang, it was easy to install. I like it, and my wife likes the way it looks - especially compared to the mess of large USB to 120-volt adapters we had to try and rearrange before.

The functionality is perfect and is very easy to use. No complicated codes or sequences to get it to work. I am going to replace all my old outlet switches and covers with these. The timers come in very handy when you have family that loves to leave the lights on constantly. They can save a ton on the electric bill. Also can be used for outside lights, making it safer to come home at night. Give these a try if you like having money saving options and great looking outlets. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this switch to replace an existing lighted gang switch where the light failed. Added the optional RCDLM LED light and really liked the result. The ability to add an LED light is a great feature for the Radiant line. The ability to use a single or dual feed by a removable link is nice. This is a well designed switch!

Of course I had to have someone else install this for me ( I'm not one to mess with anything electrical). I was installed in a matter of minutes and the look is just perfect for my office. I really want to do this in other rooms off my house too!!!! Great Looking, practical, safe...what more could you ask for?!

I've put this in my new house in place of many old rotary knobs that were installed probably a while ago. The dimmer works very well for most fixtures. We had incandescent type fixtures in most cases and it works very well with the LED replacement bulbs that we bought. However, we did update one fixture to a pure LED flushmount fixture and I noticed there was some flickering at mid-level dimming. I think we can work with it, but would be nice to have the full range of dimming as an option. I suspect it's just a low resistance issue as I only have one fixture on that dimmer. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking at this dimmer. But all in all, it's great to have the ease of use of a paddle switch with the dimming slider in one device.

I already had a set purchased from Han an my daughter decided that she would like to have a set which lead me to Wayfair to get 2 more sets of these remote wall outlets they worked very well in the past continue to work years later I hope to get the same result

Took a HOT minute to set this baby up but wow it’s so convenient now that I’ve got her going. I hooked her up to two of my lamps and can schedule when I want them to turn on for my return from the outside world or if I’m lazed in bed and don’t want to move.
