I sent this as a gift to my nephew who is graduating from college but who didn’t get to have a graduation because of the corona virus. It looked like something a guy would like, and I find it hard to shop for guys. But when I saw the picture of this lamp in the Wayfair ad, I thought, “That would be perfect for a young man starting his first home!” Well, I was right! He called me to say how much he loves the lamp! He went into great detail explaining how the days are short and dark in Utah where he lives and that he needed a lamp. He said that he can envision himself lowering and raising the lamp with the pulleys and adjusting the height. Yup, it’s a guy thing! He made sure that I knew he wasn’t just saying he liked it to be nice but that he Really loved it! I was so happy because I really wanted to get him something he’d enjoy and could use. Bingo! Thank you Wayfair for a happy ending to my story!!!!

This floor lamp is perfect for my mid-century farmhouse. It is classy, elegant and understated at the same time. At first I thought something was wrong with the leg that conceals the electric cord, until I figured out I could firmly pull it through allowing the three parts of the leg to screw on. Phew! I was worried I had a malfunction. Someone else mentioned this in their review but they may not have realized with just the right of tension, you can pull on it and voilá. The three sections of each leg don’t exactly line-up color or shade-wise, but after a while, you don’t notice it anymore. I think my lamp is a little unleveled but the lampshade is straight-oh well, not a deal breaker. I struggled screwing in each section of the leg...The teeth or the coils wouldn’t line up the first time. I kept trying until it was right. I love the type of light of the bulb. It is soothing. I don’t know if the floor lamp will remain here, maybe I will move it to another side of the living room. I adore how the cord is threaded through the leg. I’m so glad I chose this floor lamp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for something to "shed some light" over my reading chair yet add a bit of pizzaz to the overall look of my nook. This Versanora Arquer Arc Floor Lamp provided the perfect piece to my décor. While the light and its shade is the feature, I cannot describe the lamp without first commenting on that amazing piece of marble for its base. What a solid piece! I was concerned about the lamp tipping over, but the marble base itself has got to be at least 20 pounds alone, so short of someone hanging off of the lamp shade (not advised), this floor lamp is not going anywhere. Upon receipt of my lamp, had to note that it was packaged very securely and very tight. Nothing amiss at all. Directions were very easy to understand. Putting the lamp together took a matter of 10 minutes because they included an open-end wrench and an Allen wrench. The lamp does not include a light bulb, but I did note that it can hold up to a 50 watt standard light bulb, so I put in an 8 watt LED light bulb, which was perfect for my reading nook. Aside from the amazing beauty of the piece of marble at its base, this lamp's main feature is, of course, its dome lamp shade that hangs from the medal shaft. It adds the pizzaz I was looking for in my décor. The on/off switch is a soft foot pedal and is nice because I can easily conceal it under my chair when not in use. This lamp is exactly the solution I've been looking for to remedy our light-deprived living room (I ordered a second). The height is just exactly right create a beautiful mid-level splash of light in all directions in the room: this is a amuch cleaner- and uncluttered-looking alternative to a bunch of table lamps or a torchiere lamp that lights the ceiling but not the room. Best of all - it's an extremely high quality item: it has a sturdy, heavy, classy base; the gorgeous big lampshade makes a bold but simple statement. Truly this has pulled the room together like nothing else. I've struggled for years to figure out how to light this room without cluttering it up; and yet didn't want a lamp that was fussy or full of embellishments. The height of this lamp is exactly right and the fact that it holds two light bulbs also means I can really brighten up the space on a gloomy day. Finally, the well-designed levers to pull down to turn on or off each bulb add a lovely touch.

We were looking for a lamp with two bulbs and pull chains. Pros: This lamp meets the criteria and looks nice. Cons: It's impossible to assemble completely straight. After 2-3 attempts, the pole is straight, although one piece looks a bit off-center. Additionally, we were unable to get the top piece on straight (see photos). This is the piece that you attach the lampshade to. The lamp doesn't use a traditional shade harp, and the result is that your lamp shade will tilt and there is no way to adjust it. I have assembled and dissembled this final piece (and lampshade) at least 20 times. I crafted a solution by cutting a rubber washer in half, and placing one half underneath the lamp shade ring, and the other half on the opposite side on top of the lamp shade ring. Now, the shade is straight, but the piece you screw in to secure the lamp shade is crooked. That piece is also unusually heavy. I have dropped it at least 15 times while trying to achieve a straight lamp shade. It has dented my hardwood floor more than once and the base of the lamp. If I forget to place my hand underneath to catch it when it falls... ding! None of this would make me return the lamp, because it was really the only one we found that met the original criteria, but assembly and the damage to my floor and lamp base is very aggravating. I plan to look for a lightweight replacement top-piece in case I need to tweak the lampshade in the future. I've attached two photos -- the lampshade is a replacement shade...not the one that comes with the lamp. That didn't affect any of the above--both lampshades were crooked.

I ordered this lamp after seeing it featured in a sample living room in a Wayfair email. Love it. Goes really well with my royal blue mid century modern couch and brings out the yellowgold tones in my rug and hardwood floors. I didn’t realize I had ordered the clear globe (frosted was out of stock anyway, turns out). Design-wise, the clear globes place the emphasis on the lightbulb inside the globe instead of the overall lamp and the light from the bulbs is very intense bec there is no filter. I am going to treat the globes with Rustoleum frosted glass “paint” and hope for improvement. If I could do it again I would go with a model that has frosted globes and I might prioritize a dimming feature. No biggie. Lamp is great and I will make it work. Vibe is 100.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, I thought the lamp would be a bit taller. I didn’t think 58” would be that small, unless I grew suddenly. Still, that doesn’t take off how neat it is! I did a test with a lightbulb I had previously and it illuminated nicely, dipping the living room in a gentle glow. Since it’s in the monochrome spectrum, the lamp goes well with the stuff in my living room! As for the installation and fixing the whole lamp up, it’s pretty easy and beginner friendly. I do recommend starting at the bottom and working your way up. Definitely make sure to double check that the poles are screwed together, since while installing they can come off a bit. Tl;DR… A nice, decent height lamp, beginner friendly set up, and easy on the eyes. I rated it a 4 because I thought it be a bit taller but still nice nonetheless!

I bought the lamp in oiled bronze and it’s awesome! The only weird thing is that it appears to be a white lamp shade in the picture and it doesn’t say what color the shade actually is in the description. When it came, the shade is actually a khaki color. I talked to the manufacturer who said no problem they’d send a new one but when it came, the shade was still khaki. Anyway, they were great and very responsive but just note the shade is not white and it doesn’t seem like they sell the lamp in anything other than a khaki colored shade.

The "man of the house" can be a bit picky, even stick in the mud-ish, when he decides on what he would enjoy the most to make his spare time more enjoyable. After 6 attempts to get a reading light that fit all his requirements, number 7 hit the jackpot! This floor lamp is made by someone else that loves reading the paper or a good book with the brightest light and would withstand visits with the grandkids without a single twinge or rocking motion. The brass color is perfect and the shade directs the light just right. Very easy assembly and we even went to a bit smaller size bulb to keep the shade from becoming too warm. This floor lamp would be excellent for anyone doing hand stitching, embroidery, even jigsaw puzzles.

I bought this to serve double duty as a plant light as well as reading light. I needed a larger shade that would grow bulbs (I use SANSI LEDs). This is working perfectly: Although the shaft is just 3 sections that screw together, the seams are invisible and the lamp is sturdy, with sufficiently stiff hinges to support the heavy LED grow bulb (which can easily weigh 400-500g/1lb). I also like how this has a simple on-off switch on top of the shade, which makes it more accessible that the lamps that have a switch on the cord or a foot switch to tap on/off. Aesthetically, the proportions are a little off from what it ideal - the shade is large relative to the height of the lamp - so be warned there are better proportioned lamps of similar style on Wayfair. But

Purchased in black. Overall, it is a nice lamp. There were two problems that keep it from being a 5-star product. First, the shade did not sit properly - it was crooked. We we able to make adjustments so that it would work, without ordering a new one, but it was a minor inconvenience. The other downside is that the shade is quite a bit larger than it appears in the photos. My own fault for not checking the specs on that particular part, as they are included in the listing. However, the scale in the photos is a bit misleading, as the shade is almost comically large. But, we decided to keep it, because it is a nice looking lamp, with the squared black base we were looking for, and it has a foot switch rather than a pull chain or knob, which is a plus for me.

It's a nice lamp and solid for the price, but the shades are pretty unattractive so I ordered new ones that look more like the photos. I know the description says "rustic burlap" or something along those lines, but in the photo they still look fairly smooth which is not true. They're definitely hard, stiff, and feel kind of crusty to me. Things I like: you can position the arms and they have a decent range. I like that you can turn on just one drum, two drums, or all three drums. It's sturdy and the base is heavy, so no worries about it tipping. Things I don't like: the description makes it sound like each light is adjustable - I think they call it a 4-way switch or something. I guess that just means you can turn the switch 4 times and get 4 patterns of lights, not that any individual light is adjustable in the way that a single "3-way lamp" allows you to use a 3-way bulb. But the worst - holy cow, these are far and away the WORST assembly instructions I've ever used and I was about this close to sending the lamp back as defective, and then once I figured it out, chucking the pieces out my 2nd-floor window because I was so frustrated. Not only are the instructions not clear/helpful, but the pieces are not at all intuitive - normally I'm good about assembling things without instructions, but you actually THROW OUT most of the pieces. I kept trying to figure out how to use them, but you unscrew most of them and just pitch them. I never would have guessed this if I hadn't read previous reviews, so thank you to everyone who blazed the trail of frustration. I guess there's some kind of screw that goes into the arms to hold them in place but they wouldn't fit, so I threw them out and there are no screws in the holes as of yet and so far it's holding together. And the base, you take all of the screws out and throw them away and then put different pieces in. Better instructions would really help!

This lamp was just what we expected and needed! It came with easy to follow instructions and we put it together in 15 mins. The shades were caredully shrink wrapped and protected and the other arms and base were also packaged safely. We put it in a dark corner of our living room to add some light and it sure dies put out alot of light! We put 60 watt daylight bulbs in them. It brightens up the whole room. These shades really cast light out. The base is a bit heavy but very sturdy and keeps it in place. I will say be careful when adjusting the arms. They dont take much force to move and can easily topple over. That being said, I love the adjustable arms! You can direct where you want the light to go in three different directions! And you can also adjust the light with the switch. You can turn on just one bulb or two or all three. So its very nice for setring the right mood in your home. We might try some colored bulbs in then future for fun. I like that this light is modern yet not too wild. It fit in nicely with our decor and I think with the black base and white shades, it could pair with alot of different themes and colors. Quality piece worth what we paid, shipped quickly, easy to assemble and everything arrived in working order. Thats 5 star to me!

Ordered 4 of the Everett 61 Floor Lamps by Andover Mills, 2 gray, 2 Avignon Blue. The gray lamps were fine and very pretty but the quality is terrible. Not worth the price and I got them on sale. As for the Avignon Blue Lamps, one was okay but the other one had a defect as you can see in the included photo. Wayfair was very helpful and reordered a replacement. The replacement lamp had the same issue in the same place on the lamp. So it was a defect from the manufacturer. I declined the offer for another replacement and am returning both defective lamps. I am very unhappy with the manufacturer and my rating is because of the poor quality. As for looks, they are pretty but you cant judge a lamp by its cover!

The box this lamp set arrived in was damaged, about 1" deep gash on one corner. It was well packaged, double boxed, very secure and all pieces wrapped in plastic wrap and then cardboard, so that had nothing to do with the damage on the lamps though. Unpacking made a huge mess, and it was quite a fight to get it out of the box, as it is taped to the foam and cardboard and each other, tiny bits of styrofoam sticking everywhere, in my hair, all over the floor, took me a half an hour to clean that up... But I must say it was very securely packaged, so I guess I should not complain about that! It takes about 10-15 minutes max to screw the lamps together, gently pull the electric cord back into place and unwrap the shades. It looks just like listed, shade color was pretty spot on (it is a fabric probably glued on to a semi-flexible plasticky sheet, I actually think this might make it more durable in the long run), seems nice and sturdy, really like the dark cord color instead of the funny yellow, so that is a plus. The problem I am having is that both table lamps have damage on the oil rubbed bronze body of the lamp. Since it is an aluminum tube painted, it does shine through where the paint has been knocked off. Also it seems that the paint was rubbed somewhat, it looks like if I had it for 5 years and moved with it 3 times, kind of worn. From 10 feet it looks great, but it sitting next to me on my side table, I sure can see it :( Since you basically have to destroy the packaging to get it out, there is no way this can be packed back up and sent back, so I guess it stays. I called Wayfair costumer service and they were fantastic and offered me a discount to offset this, which I took and will try to touch it up with some spray paint... I'd give 5 stars for the set if it would have arrived undamaged, as it looks very pleasing to the eye, colors are great, the parts fit together well and look good after assembled, 3 stars for being damaged, so I settle on 4 after the great customer service. It is made in China (like most things these days...)

This is a very attractive lamp. It comes with the shade fully assembled. You need to screw the legs together and attach them to the base of the bulb holder. That all went smoothly, but when I sat it upright and plugged it in, one leg fell off. This was very disappointing. If the lamp had stayed together, this would be a 5 star review. It is well designed and I love that the electric cord is inside the leg instead of straggling out of the bulb. If I receive a functioning exchange lamp, I will happily raise my rating. Update: I did receive a prompt replacement for the faulty item. I was so happy with it, I ordered two more for another household. Those went together with no problem. They have an attractive modern look. However, the lamp is lightweight and might not be a good choice for households with frolicking children. Perfect for us though.
