Best Bathroom Vanity Lighting With Reviews

We are Extremely happy with the look of these sconces. We purchased 4 for our new master bath. They have not been installed yet, but the English bronze is a great color. Not quite black, but not as red as oil rubbed bronze either. Sort of a n Espresso color. They are sturdy and seem to be a very good quality light. All 4 came in perfect condition. We purchased on sale, so the price could not be beaten anywhere else we looked. Can't wait to see them on the wall!

I purchased two of these wall sconces to flank my frameless flatscreen tv above my fireplace mantel. Yes, I know, so 21st century traditional! Yet they were the perfect pieces we needed to tie everything together. These are well made sconces that take small candelabra type bulbs. The ivory hued light is soothing, and not glaring or harsh. With the addition of led bulbs and a dimmer switch,(Not Included) we are able to dial in the light output depending on our use of the room. The ambiance is so warm and inviting that I’ve forgone with my desk lamp as auxiliary lighting and use these instead. Absolutely beautiful and at a great price. Way to go Wayfair!

I originally purchased these two plug-in swing arm sconces to go on either side on my bed. Now that we're moving and the new bedroom has windows on either side, I may use one for reading in a seating area in the bedroom. Not sure just yet, but I will post pictures when I do get moved in! These two lights are a bit longer than what I expected and the option to adjust them can be a little tough sometimes, but that doesn't stop me from falling head over heels for these beauties! I wanted to see what the "Open Box" option was all about since I saw that one was drastically cheaper. I decided to give it shot and see if the quality of the item is excellent, good, fair, or poor. It was excellent! I thought maybe that was luck, so I ordered a mirror via "Open Box" and guess what?! It was excellent!!!! The items are packages so well to ensure there is no damage to the upon arrival. Kudos Wayfair! 5 stars!!!

These sconces are really nice! A breeze to hang. I say hang because I’m not installing to electricity. I’m putting them up on the wall with the two screws included with a nice bronze cap over their ends. Once hung I’m going to put puck lights in them so I can dim at ten increments and time them how long I want them to stay on. This is a popular diy on decor blogs. This is going to give me the look I want. They are exactly as they look on my monitor. Not too big but perfect size for both on either side of my hall mirror.

The item is literally just as good as it look in the images, if not better. Very clean look, solid material. Sleek, simple, minimalist but chic. I returned it, not because there was anything wrong with it, but only because the original vanity light that ordered FedEx lost it due to multiple shipping labels. This Averi light definitely next in line saved the day. I like a more slightly masculine design with a little bit of chic. The glass gives it the chic. My 1st choice light just now became available again and I couldn't resist, it went so well with the vanity and looked a tad more masculine. But THIS IS TRULY A BEAUTY and the best part is the covers are clear like drinking glasses which I love because it won't opaque the brightness in the bathroom.

Beautiful fixture for an amazing price! This picture doesn’t do it justice. I shopped for days for the perfect matte black vanity light and couldn’t find anything I loved that was under $200. I ordered this one thinking that the price is amazing and it looks cute enough. Well I was so surprised when we got it and I LOVED it. It is such high quality with a beautiful matte finish. Plus it was easy to install- according to my husband. highly reccomend!

Love love love! Got these on a super deal as open box (a huge gamble since they were not returnable and I purchased 5 of them!) and I couldn’t be happier. Beware, if you have an older home without light switches for the sconces (our old sconces had the pull strings to turn onoff) you will need to adapt these to be able to turn them on and off - it was worth it though, the materials to do it were under 5 and our electrician was able to do that very easily. They make me happy every time I see them!

These are super sleek modern and affordable. Totally love how different these are than traditional downlights and especially if youre using them as vanity lights. Reason for 4stars and not 5 is that these are very delicate to install the metal isnt super strong like iron so they can be bent if handled roughly. Which honestly Im thankful for now since they were crooked to begin with and my husband was able to bend it straight! Lol. The glass globe is also very delicate be very careful when installing them onto the actual hardware it is kinda nerve racking, like trying to squeeze and egg into a tight fitted sock! Depending on the type of bulb these lights are BRIGHT, because they are clear. Think lamp with no lamp shade basically. So we got a soft glow Edison bulb for ours with clear glass vs. frosted glass bulbs and they look better IMO. Also I chose ROUND bulbs instead of the elongated ones for the look. Enjoy! This light is a steal & arrived in 24 hours. We upgraded to the opaque white bulbs with black finish to eliminate glare at the vanity and it looks much more expensive than we paid for. It emits the perfect amount of light for our guest bathroom (we used the recommended bulb size you can find in the specifications. 2700K for a soft white glow). The installation took no time at all—the ONLY hiccup we ran into was figuring out why there were so many black and white wires. The instructions didn’t explain that were 3 of each, just made it sound like there was 1 of each. We realized that we needed to twist all 3 black wires together and then all 3 white wires together to essentially form 1 big black wire and 1 big white wire then cap them to the wires in the wall. This was confusing because the unit came with a black wire braided with a white so we had to unbraid it to do it correctly. We’re not electricians by any means but we’ve changed most our lights in our home ourselves and this one stumped us. Overall, amazing fixture for a great value! Hopefully this review helps someone else with the same installation question.

Wanted to update our bathroom I got two of these for over a double vanity and I got the two light one for the vanity in our powder room they’re fresh their modern looking to go in with our oil rubbed bronze faucet. My husband said they were easy to hang. I have no complaints and of course they went home extra sale after I bought them so if you’re thinking about them just go ahead and do it

Gorgeous industrial yet contemporary lights. Installed two of them in a master bath over a double vanity to complement a rustic iron and crystal globe chandelier over a claw foot tub, industrial brass and black faucets, and to shine light on a barn wood wall. They really pull the room together and have just enough presence over the long vanity. Globes are substantial and make a great statement with the visible brass connections. Be aware of their diameter to make sure they mount properly. I have two tall mirrors that need to hang under the bottom of the globes and they fit quite snug due to just enough space between the glass globe and wall, leaving. Great look and price!

Love the look! Purchased three to flank and between two mirrors in our master bathroom. Seems like good quality, EXCEPT there are two very obvious screws on each side of the wall plates. I could not see this in the pictures so be aware. The plates are square, so our electrician is going to loosen the nut on the back and see if he can swivel them one quarter turn. This would put the ugly screws on the top and bottom where they would not be nearly so obvious. I'm a bit concerned about the clear glass not defusing the light and that it will be harsh. If I find that's the case, I plan to add a frosted stripe to ease that.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! These pictures do not do this beauty justice. I hung it from the ceiling in my small foyer. I paired it with the 25 watt smoke LED edison bulbs and this lights up the area nicely. Not too bright. The 40 watts were way too bright and I almost thought I had made a mistake but as other reviewers have mentioned looking at it is like staring into the sun. I love this so much if I ever sell my house this is coming with me!

This is my favorite light fixture! The detail on the glass (etching) is superb and makes a unique swirly design in the room, which I love. Looks very expensive. Guests have all complimented me on this fixture. The glass is very substantial and solid. I love how it makes my guest bathroom look. I would buy this fixture again and again if I had more bathrooms for it! Shown in picture with the Wayfair Kohler Archer Mirror and Belton 30" Vanity. Pictures do not do this fixture justice!

The light fixture itself is good -- the glass shades are thick and substantial and the metal finish is nice. It can be installed facing up or down. We installed it facing up, which casts the light up onto the ceiling and is nice for a bathroom. However, be aware DURING INSTALLATION that the wall plate included is "universal" and does not have holes in quite the right place for this fixture. If you line up the top screw hole of the plate with the top screw of your junction box, the fixture will not be level. You need to use a neighboring hole for the top screw -- see photo. Other than the installation nonsense, we are happy with the light.

I really like the classic style of this lamp, the finishes, lampshade, and design but did note some quality control issues in the pair I got. The check ring (or cup) on one sconce is uneven, which is not that noticeable; but the second lamp sags no matter how we tried to adjust the installation, and its socket switch was not cut straight. Since I got a pair of these as bedside lamps, I compare them against each other and can't help discerning how they do not match. But, they do work, are good-looking if you don't look too close, and are the right size and type of lamp to serve my needs, so I'm trying not to let the flaws bother me. It's just that maybe there are a bit expensive for what I got, sadly! Also, there is NO dimmer switch, and Wayfair should really correct the misleading product details. I would've gone with another lamp had I known. I added plug-in lamp dimmers to resolve the issue, but that was an extra cost (x2) and they waste energy in the form of heat, plus they don't look as nice and streamlined.
