The light is well made, bright, and has a good color to the leds. I like the fact that it mounts nearly flat with the wall vs. a box sticking out like some other models. The one complaint I have is that the shades on the lights do not rotate or adjust at all which would be helpful in my application to keep light out of my neighbors yard.

I have this installed on my ceiling to help spotlight my desk. It helps add a little extra to light to allow my eyes not to strain so much as my desk is in the corner of the room and seems darker then the rest of the room. Pros: you can direct it right where you want the light Cons: Wish it was brighter.

The unit is motion sensitive and has the on/off button just below the sensor. It has three phases of light - low, medium and high. Press the on/off button once to set it to low always on, twice to set it to medium always on and three times to set it high always on. When set to the low and medium setting if motion is detected it switches to high for 15-25 seconds. The high mode can be set to always on or can be set to always off until motion is detected then it switches on for 15-25 seconds then returns to off. The unit can also be turned to always off. The lights are on the front and both sides which gives off plenty of light. I like this solar motion sensor light unit better than others I have used. The only way I can think of to make this unit better would be to make it in larger and smaller sizes to fit any situation. They might even make it battery operated in a smaller size for indoor use - especially in stairways.

Really great quality and solid. Has options for how long the light stays on and how far away the object is. The lights are adjustable. My husband forgot we ordered from Wayfair and thought we ordered from a hardware store. He is a builder and super impressed with the quality of this light. Would recommend!! Our house is modern and looks great but would work on any style.

This is a really nice unit. Nice looking design, mostly metal, sturdy feeling including coating with a nice texture / evenly applied, plenty of sensor settings (tucked on underside of sensor pod) for whatever you might be looking for the light to do, and has a clearly stated warranty. The lights are moderately bright, much dimmer, warmer, and more "mood lighting" than "floodlight" compared to our previous 2-bulb spotlight. Part of it is the focus of the light since they have a full rim/hood whereas some fixtures have big bulging bulbs that distribute light widely. Just depends what you're looking for. The area we have them in is about 50ft wide and with these pointed about 50* downward, they light up about 30ft well and the rest dimly. To me, this kind of light is more considerate to neighbors since it directs the light more into your own yard than beaming in all directions. 2 issues. One is the sensor pod -- which in my opinion is the durability weak spot on these types of product -- is all plastic... Not so good for baking in the sun, though I feel more confident since the product has a longer warranty than most things these days and will hopefully be UV resistant. The other quirk was during installation. This product has a lot of power/brains packed into the round base plate, leaving almost no room for wires/nuts. In our case, we had a builder-grade (junk) spotlight attached directly to an eve with the wiring stuffed behind the eve, no workbox. This meant a much more complicated install than expected because we had to cut a workbox to a weird location. Probably would have cost a good chunk more if an electrician had to do it. That's fine and probably the better way to install any electrical device, just wish there were clearer pictures of the back of the unit so we could have planned the time and materials better. For those of you living in parts of the country with better building standards than Arizona, perhaps you'll have the right electrical setup. It also includes a gasket which is so tightly toleranced it wouldn't sit behind the base during install on our textured eve... Again, might work better for your setup, just things to consider -- we needed a tube of caulk to seal it. Overall really like the light, unit looks great and so does the bright-enough but comfortable light it puts out. For once it looks like a product made to last without cutting every possible corner -- good value.

We installed a bunch of these around our house. They work well but getting the settings right has been very touchy. I got around that by connecting them to a switch where we can just shut them off. The motion sensor does get triggered by rain and bugs. So if you use the motion sensor setting instead of just dusk till dawn it can get a little crazy with them turning off and on. Putting them on a switch also allows you to force them to stay on. You can turn the switch off and then back on again and they will switch to just staying on all the time until you shut them back off and then back on again to go back to either dusk till dawn or motion sensor modes.

Great light. Price was great too. Looks very nice and easy to install. The lights are bright and covers a large area. Came very fast, very much appreciated, and packaged carefully. Got the 3-year protection plan (only 7.99) as I read many other reviews from others who bought from different companies that lasted only 6 months or 1 year. Hopefully this light will outlast the warranty for a much longer time.

I wanted something simple to replace older lights. These are very basic but just what i was hoping for. They don't look like much up close, but are nice and unobtrusive on the outside of the house (we have 3).

Works very well and illuminates a large portion of the backyard as it has been I stalled on the corner of our home! I love not having to walk around a dark corner at night any longer!

Have had trouble using certain LED flood bulbs with these fixtures, don’t care to use incandescent since they’re such juice hogs and don’t last long at all. Now and then the (dimmable) LEDs start flashing like strobe lights, only solution is to turn them off for while then back on, usually works but not always. 240 degree sensors work very well, fixtures mounted easily and look very nice once installed.

This fixture was easy to install, though the directions weren't the greatest. It appears to be a quality product that will stand the test of time in the outdoor environment. I like all the adjustments that can be made to the operation of the lights, such as gradual brightening and flashes when motion is detected. You can easily turn these features off if you don't want to use them. LED bulbs work fine in the fixture. Pros: Choice of 3 colors, durability, ease of installation. With 2 LED bulbs, gives off lots of light. Cons: None really except it seems a little overpriced.

This outdoor security light with motion sensor was the perfect replacement for my old security light that had stopped working. I can only hope that it last as long or longer then the old one which I had for a little over ten years.

Larger than photos portray but that’s a good thing. Black finish holds up well in Canadian winters. Used in back alley and wanted flood lights but without motion sensors since they often false trigger. This met my application nicely. One star off since the tightening mechanism once you have it pointed in the right spot is flimsy and doesn’t inspire confidence but it hasn’t moved out of position too much.

For safety and security I needed to upgrade my light to project more light in a broader area and this LED flood light does the job. The install is easy enough with a fairly simple swap for me. Once I had it up on the siding of the house I was happy with the way it looked. It has a nice look and very visible during the daytime hours. At night it can light up my backyard and help to deter any unwanted guests and it’s great for spending time in our backyard for gatherings. Bright and white light that really spreads wide and makes things easier to see compared to the old dim light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bionic Spotlight is an affordable option for a security light when you want an added deterrent/protection or need some extra light around exterior of your home. Installation is EASY! Anyone can do it. It’s a matter of putting up the base using 3 screws and anchors, then attaching the light. Took 5-10 minutes total for set up and most of that was getting the ladder set up and grabbing a screwdriver. Once the base is up you attach the light, adjust the solar panel, and turn it on. It will charge during the day. It works well at night and casts a decent amount of light in the direction it is pointed as the light is LED. I like that the light turns off after 30 seconds after no longer detecting motion which will save the solar energy. Not using any kind of electricity is nice as it saves a few pennies and still works if there is a power outage. The one thing that I do not care for with the light is the recommendation of removing the light from being outside during the winter to avoid damage from frost and freezing. While you can leave the base of the light attached and only have to remove the unit, I want a light to have up year round, not only during the warm lights. Other than the product not being made for the cold, I recommend this product as an affordable automated option for an outside area of your home needing a little more light.

great lighting for mid century homes or modern style houses. The design allows for lights to shine downwards and it also prevents dirt buildup! This type of lighting was purchased out of consideration for my neighbors who don’t need to be blinded by my floodlights every time they’re turned on!
