Like this fanlight. My husband put it together and hung it quickly and said the instructions were easy to follow. The wood has more of a red tinge than I really wanted and the light shades are a little yellow-ish, neither of which is shown in the stock photographs. But overall very happy. Madeline. Wow... this fan has so many great things about it. I love this fan in so many ways and really hate that I have to say anything negative about it. The fan is one of the quietest fans I have ever owned. The 3 speeds are excellent, there is a very slow, a medium, and a fast that is not so fast that it blows things around in the room. The balance in the fan is perfect! You don't hear any noise at all, not even the motor running. The blades didn't require any weights for balance and there were zero wobbles. The beauty of the fan with the crystals is remarkable, including the ability to change the fan blades from wood tone to black. The remote is simple to use, it has settings for changing the fan speed & light, and it also includes a timer. The fan is such a beautiful statement piece and fits perfectly into our Master Bedroom. For the negatives: The packaging was subpar and allowed for some damage upon arrival. There were broken plastic items rattling around inside the motor housing and one crystal was damaged. Thankfully, there was 1 replacement crystal for that area included in the product list. Upon installation of the replacement crystal, I realized the crystal isn't the same size. I have contacted Wayfair for help in replacing the crystal with the correct size. (Wayfair customer Service is awesome and I am awaiting the repair part) There were no wire nuts included in the kit and you will need several sets of different sizes. The majority of the round crystals look beat up and some have dings and cracks. However, when these round crystals are hung the damaged areas are not visible. The directions for the installation are lacking and are at best very basic instructions. This is beautiful, larger than I expected which was a nice surprise. I deducted 1 star because the manual was a bit confusing for installing and the main reason I purchased this fan for my bedroom was to listen to music via the Bluetooth speaker as I slept. Unfortunately the *Bluetooth speaker doesn’t work unless the light is on* which won’t work for me as I sleep with no lights. Will still be great for when I’m cleaning, reading, or folding laundry in my room but I’m pretty bummed that I can’t listen to music with the lights off. I originally picked for a house we will be selling but I like it enough I want it for our new home. The side are individual crystals so thankfully there is no concern of broken glass during shipping. One crystal was unattached but it was extremely simple to reattach. UPDATE my husband was extremely impressed with the quality of the unit and ease of installation compared to previous brands.
