I am amazed at the light this lamp throws! A pleasant surprise, the inside of the shade is lined in white fabric that reflects light. The outside beige fabric makes it look classic vintage. It’s a nice lamp. I like the style. Easy to assemble. Remote switch changes the brightnesssoftness of the light which is nice. There is also an onoff foot switch. I was a little confused when the box came because it wasn’t big enough for a shade. Turns out the shade is rolled up and clips on to the upper and lower wire supports and Velcro’s to itself. This would be fine except you can see where the shade clips on when the light is on. Most probably wouldn’t notice or care and this is for my son and he’s one that doesn’t care.
