Overall, the light is better than I expected. I have a lot of these types of lights and this light ranks up there with the better ones. The solar panel looks nicer than the generic panels you get with the lights like this. For the price, I think it's better than some of my others. I don't think it's 9000 watts, but it is bright enough for us. It runs off of a rechargeable battery, so you need to understand that it will not be much brighter than a A/C flood light. It's great that it allows you to place lighting in areas without access to A/C power. We use these around our livestock area. The coverage you'll get is highly dependent on the height of the mounting area. We have some mounted about 16 foot up and the have a great light spread. We have others mounted at only 8 foot and the spread isn't very good at all. The light stays on all night and during the morning, it is noticeably dimmer than when it first turns on at night. The mounting pole is a little thin, but it has held up in some 80 mph wind gusts that we recently went through. We've had about 1/2 inch of rain, and I can see no leakage, etc. So far, so good.
