The fixture is pretty from a distance, but cheaply made. Height on the wall is important, because you can see the "guts" of the figure from the openings at the top and bottom. Very, very pleased with these sconces. I’ve been looking at sconces for weeks now and just happened to come across this pair. We had our electrician install them and as he didn’t mention any difficulty, I can only assume it was fairly easystraightforward for one who knows what one is doing. These remind me hotel lamps in that they have a USB port at bottom of the round base to charge electronic devices. I am OBSESSED with these sconces. The crystals are stunning and are very crisp and clean looking. I imagine these will be easy to clean in the future as well. I chose to wire them for pendant light use with dimmers instead of hardwiring them into the wall.
