This is a beautiful lamp! I believe the style is considered transitional; it has a beachy feel but I do not have a beach themed style and it still goes perfectly in my living room. I would have given it 5 stars but this lamp is hollow, although has a little weight to it, and the bottom is hollowed out with only a piece of felt covering the hole and not too much room for the felt to stay attached. I ordered 2 lamps and 1 came with dents in the shade, must have happened pre-shipment because it was packed and protected very well. Wayfair corrected the issue and I had a new shade within 1 1/2 weeks. I am always impressed with their customer service and policies
