[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this vacuum sealer. I have used vacuum sealers for a few years now and this one outperformed any that I have used in the past. Some have been at similar price points and still did not perform as well as this version. I love the slim size and it is very lightweight. It can also be used with vacuum canisters to simply vacuum seal or marinate in them. I haven’t tried these yet but will be ordering some. There is also a pulse option where you can control how much air you want sucked out. The main option is of course a regular vacuum seal which is done surprisingly fast and fairly quiet. My last machine was insanely loud so I am very happy with the lowered noise level. Finally, the actual vacuum seal that this machine accomplishes is very near perfect. I have had difficulty in the past with other machines not getting all the air out completely. This vacuum seal looks professional. The machine also comes with 15 bags to use with the machine and they are a large enough size to fit most everything but without being too big. Overall, this machine is a great investment if you want to preserve your food quality over time. I highly recommend this and appreciate being given the opportunity to test this out complimentary.

Past vacuum sealers did not stay sealed over time, creating freezer burn on my fruit. So far the seal has remained as snug as ever even when the bag contains large blackberries. So far so good. Very easy to use and compact.

Ive had this for a little under a week now and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I had some trouble getting to to deal correctly the first few times while trying g to seal the cucumbers pictured because their moisture content is so high, and the bags that come with the sealer are very low quality, in my opinion. I would definitely get a different brand of bags. I purchased the Hamilton Beach NutriFresh bags and they work super well! The scale works really well and has four weight modes. You are going to need batteries to operate the scale. Cleaning it was really easy too.

These are a considerable amount of plastic that you make the bags yourself. The sealer works fine if you are able to get the vacuum sealer to close. But, the heat seal works fine. I have not had to use the sealer because some pre-made bags came with the Vacuum Sealer. But, you still have to get the sealer to close by punching down both corners with your fists. Still, it's nice to have extras just in case you cannot get the vacuum to close and seal.

These nesco bags are thick! They’re my new favorite for freezer bags. I wasn’t expecting to like them as much as the others I’ve used with my vacuum sealer, but these surpass the others in quality. Keep in mind that you need a sealer of some kind. There’s no closure on the bags themselves and would need a heat-and-cut type of seal. I’m going to be using these to freeze herbs and cut veggies from the garden.

Haven't had this very long, but very pleased with it so far. Big improvement over my previous Food Saver for about the same price. I like the firmness of the top when you snap it into place as well as the copper strip at the edge of the sealer. It feels likes it grabs the bags tightly and stops bag slippage. The two-speed seal is excellent, particularly having the faster speed when I seal liquids. So far I like it.

Love my new Nesco Vacuum Food sealer. Quick and easy, just fill the bag and press. No bother and I use it almost daily. Being single I cook large amounts and just divide up portions to freeze and take out later to heat or even boil. Easy to use and economical.
