Best Tea Kettles With Reviews

I've had this for almost ten years and it's never failed me. Only recently I needed to replace the top. A bit expensive when it only needed a small seal replacement, but still, I assume that's because it is such a tight fit that it needs to be done by a machine. I'm still totally happy with this purchase and very grateful that it hasn't been discontinued.

UPDATE - June 2024 - Still love the look of this Kettle HOWEVER the base is a HUGE LETDOWN. It is very light weight and while the cord does wrap around it there no ability to hold the cord underneath. I only require a minimum of cord and while the rest is under the kettle it falls onto the counter and is clearly visible. I have tried duck tape (does not last) and a small wedge (falls out). Poor Engineering for an expensive kettle. Original Review- January 2024- Beautiful Kettle. Good value as it was on Sale. Complements the red accents in my kitchen including the Passion Red Kitchenaid Range. Just received yesterday with ultra fast delivery so far boils faster than my gas stove. Only potential issue will be the base which is VERY light weight plastic with a silver finish- a big disappointment. Will update this review if the base fails to wear well or scratches or any issues. Fingers crossed!

Oxo brand makes so many inventive and stylish products, and the uplift tea kettle is one of my favorites. I absolutely love how easy it is to open and close this tea kettle to pour the hot water just by holding the kettle handle at a slightly different angle. The lid is easy to open and close, and the hole for it is very large so you can easily pour your cold water in it to heat it, and easily clean the inside of the kettle as well because of this. This kettle is also super stylish and durable. I am a huge fan of it. 

This is a fantastic electric kettle. The size is just right for a decent kitchen counter top. It looks solid but elegant at the same time. I drink a lot of tea so I boil water all the time. This has 1.7L capacity. I filled it up to 1.5L and it took just under 5 minutes for the water to boil. It also has auto shut off so as soon as it boils it shuts off itself which is a good security feature. It is also nice to see the inside. I think it will also be easier to clean because it is glass, a little bit vinegar and water will make it look like new once it gets stained. Great product 100% recommended.

This little thing really saved my life. I drink tea all day. I work from home and my office is to the very back of our home. My mother in law whom is the caretaker of our toddler was always having cut the stove off after Id forget I had water boiling in a pot. Several times I was along and forgot UNTIL the empty dry pot began smoking. I know I know, shame on me. This one here has saved our home. The only concern is that its recommended that the water is poured through the spot where the filter is located. To preserve the life of the kettle.

Great handle. The whistle is loud enough but not obnoxious. I love how it looks on our stove top. Our last Kettle was good for 3 years before the handle melted. I liked the old fashioned look of the spout on the last one more but these are first world problems. We are happy with this purchase so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my electic kettle about a month. Things I love about it are, it's appearance, it's total metal kettle parts, it heats water fast! Things I think need improvement: The BIG LABEL on the cord is totally unsightly for such a great looking piece. It's right next to the plug, so it is sticks out like a sore thumb when you walk in the room. So, I removed it. Guess what, the glue you used on the cord to adhere is remained and started sticking to the pot when I moved it back to store or anything else that came near the cord. Had to get some acetone to remove the glue. Just FIX this problem....find a better way. Only other thing I think can be improve is the lid is a little tight fit clearing the handle when there is condensation in the lid.....otherwise you always spill some down the side of the pot or on the counter (can't turn lid upside down before removing from between the handle). I love it, I love the look, definitely recommend it. just fix a few glitches!

It heats up a cup of water for my tea in less time than the microwave can do it and a lot faster than a traditional stove top kettle. It's very pretty too. Another thing I like is that it clicks itself off. I've burned a few traditional kettles dry and ruined them through the years from running outside to check on child because I couldn't hear the whistle. Won't happen with this kettle. Some people have made a big deal about the "plastic" inside. First all, at least two cups of water are below the plastic, and even if not, Kitchen Aid said that it is BPA free. I think we have far more to worry with the toxicity in our environment everyday, everywhere, than the chance of a tiny amount from a little plastic while heating up a cup of water once or twice a day! Seriously! The kettle arrived sooner than expected, was packaged very well, and the kettle was in perfect shape. I am very pleased with every part of my order.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the perfect size for 4 cups of pour-over coffee or 2 large cups! It is compact and looks great on the counter. It took less than 5 minutes to reach 212 degrees for herbal tea and less than that for the perfect pour-over temperature. Makes pour-over coffee in half the time as our former stovetop kettle method. Faster than drip now and so much easier and better. Decided to double check the digital base and lid thermometer temperature and they match exactly that of my super precise digital thermometer. Pour spout control settings allow for a fast heavy pour for a teabag or a super controlled pour which gently moistens the pour-over coffee grounds and prevents splash or grounds ejection. It is easy to add water through the large opening. I like the sleek look of the pot and that the “1ltr Max” pressed marking inside is hidden under the handle on the outside. When filling with nearly 1 liter directly from the faucet, you must hold the pot by the handle at a strange angle to see the Max water mark, but I got used to that in one use. Being all stainless, I’m assuming that it will never rust, that said though, I still empty the pitcher fully while warm and dry it out. There are two sets of 3 small holes in the lid rim to allow for airflow. They also allow for easy dumping of extra water and should prevent any buildup of pressure or closed up smells inside the carafe. The base remains cool and looks purposeful. I like the hold temp function.

Just what we have been looking for! Haven't seen something like this for years (i.e. Mr. Tea). It is perfect and very fast. I like the adjustable brew strength, automatic shut off when finished and how you can easily use either tea bags, loose tea or even make iced coffee. The only thing that concerns me is the glass pitcher. It's a little nerve racking when adding the ice to it but so far, so good. Another note is, one of the little arms that holds the water tank in place immediately broke off the first time removing it for cleaning. It is a very small and thin plastic piece. Decided that it works fine but will try to be extra careful when removing tank in the future. All in all this makes excellent tea quickly and deliciously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when I received this and I plug it in the blue was just incredible the light on this was just so beautiful I make a small pot of tea pomegranate and orange infused tea and all I do is boil the water in this and pour it in that little teapot and it boils it in three and a half minutes so it's so quick quicker than the stove favorite leave it to Hamilton Beach to come up with that is wonderful you can always count on Hamilton Beach to do it again you can trust their products so far everything I received from Hamilton Beach has been wonderful and that is my review on the Hamilton Beach compact glass kettle so go out and buy one you won't be standing at the stove waiting for your water to boil because it will boil a lot faster if you buy this

That said, it feels sturdy and well-built, so it’s not just about looks! Capacity & Performance: With a 1.7L capacity, this kettle holds plenty of water, which is perfect for a heavy tea or coffee drinker like me. I love that I don’t have to refill it multiple times a day. The 360° base is also super convenient—it looks good from every angle, and since there’s no fixed cord attachment, there’s no hassle when picking it up and setting it back down. Ease of Use & Features: Pouring is easy and comfortable thanks to the ergonomic handle, though fair warning—the handle does get warm while heating, so keep that in mind. Now, the indicator light is a nice touch, but I feel like it could be more useful. Like, imagine if it also showed whether the water was still warm? That would have been a game-changer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle does what it's supposed to do. It heats liquid (in my case water) well and shuts off once boiling has occurred. There are a few things about the kettle that should be noted. The white color is more of an off white. I'd describe it as closer to ivory than bright white. The "on" switch has a blue LED light that isn't necessary, but serves as a nice amenity in low lighting scenarios. I found it to be helpful when making tea early in the morning. You can leave your kitchen lights off and see the kettle is brewing. That said, you can also hear it brewing. There's a small diamond shaped acrylic topper on the handle which isn't what I was expecting. It's not my style, but if it's yours then perhaps this is a bonus. The kettle lid relies on this topper as a handle for removal of the lid. The kettle handle sits directly over the topper and it makes removal of the lid difficult. This design is ergonomically functional for pouring and feels balanced, but the curved handle slightly blocks removal of the lid. That can make things a little difficult when the kettle is still warm. The base is lightweight. It is designed with a cord storage space on the bottom which helps to cut the cord clutter. However, the base is lightweight and doesn't feel nearly as substantial as the kettle. My base actually looks to have some separation occurring at a material seam. Overall it does what it's supposed to do and at this price point it's a solid purchase, but I don't see it having as long a life span as some other products on the market that sell for a higher price point.

Purchase was based on this electric kettle’s clean & unique design and cost; doesn’t disappoint when it comes to functionality either! Quick to boil, easy to operate and absolutely worth the simple 2.5 minutes a month it takes to descale and clean thoroughly! … in other words: disregard the reviews that complain about how a crystal clear glass kettle is “poorly made” or “a waste of money” because those buyers don’t understand how to maintain an appliance by actually cleaning it regularly and seem to think a product at this price point and made of *literal glass* should keep its original condition/look without any upkeep or effort… lol. But I digress. Keep up the good work Cuisinart.

I really like the stylish look and size of this kettle. It’s is modern, but also has a natural look to it with the wooden handle (which is beautiful) and does not take up much room. I love the blue light that turns on when it’s heating up and goes off when it is finished heating. The kettle holds quite a bit of water and heats very quickly. The lid fits in very snug and it feels well made. Great addition to the kitchen if your a heavy tea drinker like me!

This electric works great and is very fast. The water stays hot for a long time after heating as well. I really like the markings on the inside so you know how much water you are heating without having to use a measuring cup. The only issue I have had is that sometimes when you pour the water out it doesn’t come out in a nice stream, it dribbles, almost like the spout isn’t long enough.

I really like that this has the visible water line/measurement on both sides and the power button below the handle. That's probably a weird thing to be thrilled about but I have limited counter space and after my frustrations with my coffee maker needing to be facing a specific way, I deeply appreciate the kettle's design. As for fuctionality, the water heats up very quickly and keeps warm for an impressively long time. Very glad I purchased this.
